Sasuke sat down in the training ground, he'd woken up early and gotten there earlier than his teammates.

Kakashi so far reminded Sasuke a bit of Itachi, so he was probably stronger than he looked.

Ten minutes later, Naruto walked up, hands in his pockets, and glared at Sasuke as he passed.

Sasuke sighed. "You realize this team will never function with that attitude, right?"

"Fuck off, like I need your help..." Naruto replied angrily.

Sakura arrived shortly after, looking very hungry and tired.

"Sakura, did you eat or sleep last night?" Sasuke asked, concerned about the girl.

She shook her head. "We were told not to eat breakfast and I was too excited to sleep."

Sasuke breathed out heavily. "You should've eaten a larger dinner to compensate. Hold on." Sasuke rummaged through his pack and found a energy bar. "Here, not as good as actual breakfast but it'll be better than nothing."

Sakura took it hesitantly. "You're sure?"

Sasuke nodded. "Yeah, you're my teammate now. I won't just leave you behind."

She ate quietly and Naruto glared at her. "You're the weak link of this team, you know. You should just quit. Other wise, on missions you better hope he saves you because I sure as hell won't. "

"Naruto! Shut up! She's here because she has the skill to be genin, same as either of us." Sasuke ground out.

Naruto laughed darkly. "If not for my full power being held back, I'd be the most powerful ninja in existence. "

Sasuke looked at the crying Sakura. "It's alright, he's always been a prick."
________three hours later____

"Yo..." Kakashi Hatake just appeared in the tree above his students.

Sakura jumped up. "You're late!!!"

"Sorry, I got lost on the road of life... Now, for your test. You have until noon to take these two bells from me. You can even use deadly force. If you don't come at me with intent to ki-" Naruto shot forward and threw a punch, only for Kakashi to side step and bring his knee up to Naruto's gut. Naruto sank to the ground in pain. "Now, I didn't say start..."

Naruto flipped him off from the ground and stood. "F-fuck...you."

"Impressive you're able to stand. Now you can start." Kakashi had to jump back to avoid Naruto's second charge.

Sasuke grabbed Sakura's arm and said. "We need to work together. No way does he expect three genin to take on a jonin. It's obviously about teamwork."

She nodded. "What about Naruto?"

Sasuke sighed. "I know it sucks but we will need him. He's got more chakra than anyone I've ever met, his inexhaustible, incredible physical strength, and heightened regeneration. He's tough as nails and could be an asset...plus...I know why he behaves that way...I understand why he treats people harshly..."

Sakura nodded. "Alright, what do we do?"

"I'm thinking Naruto and I engage in taijutsu and while he's distracted you swoop in and grab the bells." Sasuke scratched his neck.

"Simple enough, let's do it." Sakura grinned.
