10. Most embarrassing moment in your life, care to share?
Pretty much my entire life is a series of embarrassing moments, to be brutally honest. But most embarrassing, well…I’ve had some pretty rough dates in my past. My best friend set me up with this guy once, and I was just kind of like, ‘okay, lets give it a try’. So I went to a film with him, and he insisted we take his car instead of transit, even though he fully wasn’t legal. Then, when we got there, he made me pay—which is whatever, I’m pretty chill about that. But then he spoke through the entire movie, was all over me and called another girl at the end of the night to meet him after. So, I mean it wasn’t really embarrassing but it was one of the more unfortunate of many unfortunate moments in my life. Needless to say we didn’t speak again.
11. Give one place or country in the world that you would like to visit.
I’ve been to a lot of places. But I’d definitely like to go back to England. I’m massively obsessed with London. If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be there. I just find it perfect.
12. What is your most favourite thing in the world?
Film. Like, 100% film is my favorite thing in the world. I just am fascinated with it, and I can’t think of anything I’m more passionate about than that moment you yell action, and you’re sitting at the monitors and your cinematographer has perfectly framed this one close up and you watch the scene, and it just clicks. That’s life for me. I just adore it.
13. What do you despise the most, creepy crawlies and bugs, narcissistic people, people who steal story ideas, being embarrassed in public, etc.
Probably people who just don’t do anything with the time they have. I don’t get it. Being lazy and just not being passionate about anything ticks me off because I’ve seen how short life is. After my best friend passed away, I think I just kind of realized that there’s no point in sitting around waiting for your life to start. So when I see people doing that, it’s just kind of like, ‘there are people who didn’t make it to your age, use the time you have.’
14. Are you a Harry Potter gal, Twilight gal or Hunger Games kinda gal?
I’m going to anger a lot of people right now. I apologize in advance. Twilight is the worst film I have ever watched. Yeah…I said it. I’m sorry, but it’s just so awfully made. They’ve got a massive budget, and yet it’s all so boring and typical and I don’t know…just bad. Hunger Games—now that is one well-made film. Handheld camera, great shots, brilliant acting, fast quick editing. That’s my kinda film. Hunger Games is fantastic. Twilight is horrible. Harry Potter is commendable.
15. Do you have any hidden talents or secret skills?
Honestly…no not really. I can play the guitar? I’m decently okay at life?
16. Out of all your books which one is your favourite? (Which is your baby boo? LOL!)
Probably Flow, just because it’s right in my wheelhouse and it’s one of the stories I’ve wanted to write for a really long time. It’s just a ton of fun to write, and I’m very close to the characters in it. I also like that I have complete creative control and it’s the first story I’ve written where even I’m not 100% sure where I want to take it and that’s really refreshing. So yeah, probably Flow.
17. What song have you listened to lately that you can't get out of your head?
“I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hayes and “Still” by Daughter. If you listen to those, they are SO different. But “I Want Crazy” is just so relatable, and I saw Hunter Hayes in concert a little while ago and I absolutely love him. My hidden musical love is country, because everything else I listen to is really indie and singer songwriter, and Hunter Hayes is an incredible young talent. I guess it kind of reminds me of what I’ve gone through, so I’ve got that in my head. And then pretty much anything Daughter creates is golden, so I’ve been emotionally really struck by “Still” recently
18. Who is your celebrity crush?
Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely in love with Ryan Gosling. Honestly, I think he’s a fantastic actor and all my favorite movies have him in them (yeah, Drive is insane). But he’s Canadian, which is cool because I was born in Canada, and he’s gorgeous. So, definitely Ryan Gosling ☺.
19. Leave a message for your Fans (Followers)?
Thanks everyone so much for the support. It’s been absolutely incredible. I love you all for reading and commenting and voting, it means the world to me. I really mean it, I wouldn’t be where I am without you all. Thanks guys <3
AN: Omg! I just realized now that I sent the same question twice and now I feel guilty that I didn't give ScriptWriter21 her well deserved 20 questions. :(
I'm so sorry! I've just been preoccupied these past few days, that's why I took this long to upload. I have another interview which I will either upload later today or tomorrow.
Hottie on the side is Ryan Gosling! ;) And the song of the day is 'Still' by Daughter, it's an absolutely lovely song and I've found myself to be emotionally struck by it too. :)
Thanks for reading! And please show ScriptWriter21 a little love and check out her books!
