Beomgyu didn't mean to eavesdrop, but when he heard a laugh that didn't belong to him come from the front door, he tiptoed down the stairs. Yeonjun was in the living room talking to someone who looked like they walked out of a fashion ad. Tall, long haired, sharp-jawed, effortlessly gorgeous—and way too familiar with Yeonjun.

Beomgyu stood frozen halfway down the staircase.

"Long time no see, Junnie," the stranger said, brushing her hand over Yeonjun's shoulder.

"Yeah... You look good." Yeonjun smiled awkwardly. "What are you doing here?"

"I was nearby and wanted to drop off your old sweatshirt. Figured your boyfriend wouldn't mind." The way she said boyfriend made Beomgyu clench the railing. That smug tone. That smug face. That smug everything.

He turned back into Yeonjun's room and flopped onto the bed, burying his face in the pillow. So that's his type? Damn. Maybe I should just go bald.

Later, when Yeonjun walked in holding the sweatshirt like it was a ticking bomb, Beomgyu asked in the most passive-aggressive voice he could muster,

"So... Was that your ex? You two seemed cozy."

Yeonjun blinked. "Cozy? I was about to mace her."

"Oh," Beomgyu mumbled. "Cool."

Under his breath, he whispered, 'Cause I was gonna mace her too'
