Beomgyu, hair a mess, shirt lopsided, eyes barely open, shuffled to the door like a zombie. He opened it.
And there he was.
Yeonjun. In full morning glory. Grinning like a golden retriever who found a squirrel.
"Morning, baby! I brought breakfast!"
He held up a paper bag like it was the Holy Grail.
Beomgyu blinked. "It's not even 8am."
"And yet, here I am. The best boyfriend ever."
Toto, from inside the house: "STALKER."
Yeonjun squinted. "Was that your parrot again?"
Beomgyu didn't answer. He just moved aside to let him in and muttered, "He has a personal vendetta against you. Don't take it personally."
Yeonjun walked in, still grinning like a dork, and headed straight for the dining table, setting the food down. "I got your favorite. Well, I think it's your favorite. I may have stalked your Twitter likes from 2022 to find out."
Beomgyu paused mid-step. "I don't know if I should be flattered or concerned."
"Both," Yeonjun said brightly, already laying out the food. "Also, you looked so cute last night. The way you smiled when Jennie did her little body wave? Iconic. You're lucky I didn't faint."
Toto: "SIMP. SIMP. PATHETIC SIMP."
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow. "That bird really hates me."
Beomgyu, sipping his juice just shrugged "You haven't even heard him at 3AM. He recites breakup quotes and calls me a fool."
"That's kind of poetic, actually."
Beomgyu side eyed him "It's trauma."
Yeonjun gave him a soft smile, nudging a wrapped bun closer to him. "Thanks for coming with me last night, by the way. It was kinda the best night of my life."
Beomgyu blinked, caught off guard by how sweet and sincere he sounded. He stared down at the bun, ears pink.
"...It was okay," he muttered, playing with the wrapper. "You're still dumb though."
Yeonjun laughed. "You loooove me."
Toto: "LIAR. DENIAL. DELULU."
