Rachel

I was sitting in science taking one of these stupid pop-quizzes when Finn turned around and started talking to me. After we kissed at sectionals, we decided to get back together. I haven't fully forgiven him for the whole Quinn thing, but we both need to be together to be sane.

"So I have a idea for a baby name." he said excited. I was going to respond but then the teacher told Finn to turn around.

"Write it down and pass it to me." I whispered. He nodded and wrote whatever this name was down on a piece of paper. He quietly passed me the paper and I unfolded it. And there in his sloppy handwriting, the most horrible thing was written.

Drizzle

Was he being serious? He wanted to name our baby Drizzle. I just nodded my head and he looked disappointed. The bell rang, and next period was glee. Mr. Schue switches it up sometimes to get Puck out of a test or something. So today, it was 4th period glee, and we got to eat lunch during glee. That also gives us more time to practice. I walked quickly to the choir room and sat down next to Quinn.

"Why are you sitting next to me?" she smirked at me.

"Because Finn wants to name our baby something incredibly stupid." I whispered in her ear.

"And what's that?" she whispered back.

"Drizzle." I whispered back. She started cracking up laughing so I hit her arm.

"Stop." I said now laughing myself. Finn walked in sadly and sat in the back. Mr. Schue finally came in and clapped his hands.

"This weeks assignment is improv." he told us.

"But isn't that for like, plays and stuff?" Puck asked.

"Yes, but, it's spur of the moment type things. Things that aren't planned." Mr. Schue told him. Finn raised his hand.

"Finn?" Mr. Schue called on him.

"Can I go?" he asked.

"Go for it!" Mr. Schue sat down with us and Finn walked up.

"I'm dedicating this to Rachel, because I'm an ass and I can't come up with good baby names." I laughed at his stupidity and so did everyone else.

[Finn the whole time by himself]
Hey there, Delilah
What's it like in New York City?
I'm a thousand miles away
But girl, tonight you look so pretty
Yes you do
Times Square can't shine as bright as you
I swear it's true
Hey there, Delilah
Don't you worry about the distance
I'm right there if you get lonely
Give this song another listen
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me
Hey there, Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me, girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good
Hey there, Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
and we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way
Delilah, I can promise you
That by the time that we get through
The world will never ever be the same
And you're to blame
Hey there, Delilah
You be good and don't you miss me
Two more years and you'll be done with school
And I'll be making history like I do
You'll know it's all because of you
We can do whatever we want to
Hey there, Delilah, here's to you
This one's for you
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
Oh it's what you do to me
What you do to me.

[End]

I had tears in my eyes as Finn walked up to me.

"I'm sorry I tried to name our baby Drizzle." I smiled at him while Puck and some of the boys snickered.

"It's okay." I told him while sniffling.

"If it's a girl, I want to name her Delilah." he smiled.

"Okay." I smiled at him. I stood up and hugged him, while everybody smiled at us.
