''chris!'' dasha laughed. ''you're doing it wrong!''

''no, i'm not!''

''let me do it!'' she said as she shoved him.

''dasha, move!'' he replied, shoving her back.

''it's going to taste like shit if you do it like that!''

''just shut up. i don't want your opinion until you taste it.''

''fine.'' she sighed, rolling her eyes as she sat on the kitchen counter.

chris had decided he wanted to make french toast this morning, and apparently, he knew how to make it perfectly - with his secret ingredient - but, judging by the state of the kitchen, he didn't.

''i promise it'll taste great.'' he muttered.

''i believe you.'' she said.

''i can tell you're lying.'' he answered without turning.

''chris, i promise you, it's going to taste bad!''

''it wont! stop being so negative!''

dasha didn't reply, just rolling her eyes with a small smile, and then went back to her phone. the kitchen went silent for a few minutes whilst chris put the bread onto the stove, and then he turned to look at her.

''sorry.''

she looked up from her phone. ''what for?''

he sat on the kitchen counter next to her. ''saying you were negative.''

''i am negative. you don't need to say sorry for calling me it.''

''well, cheer up.''

she laughed. ''never say that to a person with depression ever again.''

he grinned. ''i won't.''

''anyway, i will cheer up if you're french toast turns out good.''

''it won't be long now.''

''okay.''

''what do you want to do today?'' he asked.

dasha thought for a few seconds. ''i don't know. what do you wan-''

''okay, so i was thinking we could back to the field, right, but we invite our whole friend group.''

''wow, you came up with that idea quickly.'' she smirked.

''yeah, i thought of it last night.'' he shrugged.

''so why did you ask what i wanted to do?''

''just wanted to see if we were twinning.'' he shrugged.

she laughed. ''i didn't think of it, but it's a good idea.''

he put his hands on her thighs excitedly. ''i know.''

''have you asked nick or matt yet?''

''no. i'll ask them when they come downstairs.''

''okay.''

chris pressed on her thighs slightly as he leaned in and kissed her. ''you think all my ideas are good, don't you?''

''no.'' she answered blankly.

''name one that wasn't.''

''breaking into the teacher's room to steal containers.''

he was quiet for a moment, and then laughed. ''i forgot about that.''
