POLICE

Zack's POV
When the ambulance arrived, Iris who was still crying went with her grandfather back to the hospital. I wanted to comfort her but did not know how to.

I looked at the three people who seemed to look shocked and did not say anything.
'' Blake, I want you to collect all the information on the medication these people gave him and make sure they tell you from which pharmacy they got it from .'' I said still looking at the trio.
'' Okay, boss .'' He answered looking at the people with a grin.

Blake has always been a good friend of mine even though sometimes he was very serious and most of the time he felt like killing someone.

Both his parents were killed by his older brother and so he wanted his revenge. He was young and so my grandmother took him under her wing.

He became my assistant because we were close and he did not really want to look for a job and also because he felt bored when I was always working.

'' Do you suspect that we did something to him?'' Chris shouted realising what I had just said to Blake.

Dorcas on the other hand started to look scared.

'' Let's hope not,'' Blake smirked.

After that police entered the house.
'' Are you taking us to the police station?'' Chris asked.

The police took Sarah to another room.

'' Not yet, unfortunately, they first have to interrogate you .'' Blake answered disappointedly.
'' I want to see my husband,'' Sarah said.
'' As long as the police are with you there is no problem.''

I did not want to waste anymore time at the house so I rushed to the hospital .
When I arrived at the hospital, grandma was comforting Iris.
'' Grandma, you can go home and rest now, I will stay here and take care of Iris .''
'' Please inform me if anything happens,'' she said. '' Iris grandma will be going home now,'' she said as she turned to Iris.
'' Okay grandma thank you for coming,'' she said and hugged grandma before she left.

After grandma left it was quiet. I sat next to Iris who then hugged me.
'' Zack do you think I am a curse?'' She suddenly asked.
'' Of course not you are a lucky star.'' I answered hugging her tightly.
'' Why is it that everyone who I love and loves me back gets hurt?'' She asked.
'' Do I look hurt to you?'' I asked.

I did not receive an answer I looked on her face only to see that she was blushing.

She looked so cute

I guess she figured out that I wanted her to confess to me indirectly but my plan backfired.

No wait

I can take her blushing as a way of her confessing.

Why am I thinking if this now

The girl is still hurting

'' Is grandma hurt?'' I asked.
'' No,'' she answered.
'' Then shhhh...everything is going to be alright .'' Iris wiped her tears and looked at me.
'' I'm such a cry baby...your shirt is now wet because of me.''
'' I can buy a new one.''
'' Oh,okay.''

After that it was quiet, Iris hugged me and soon fell asleep.
'' Excuse me sir would you like for us to prepare a room for you and your wife?'' A nurse asked. I nodded my head. After taking Iris to the room I went to ask about grandpa's health.

Dorcas's POV
After Harrison fainted Zack Sullivan called the police.
'' Chris why did your father faint?'' I asked.
'' I don't know mum, you might have given him too much .'' He answered
'' I just hope he is going to be fine.''
'' Mum make sure you do not tell the police anything.'' He warned me.
'' What about Sarah can't she tell them something?'' I asked. This son of mine didn't seem to trust me.
'' Not when she is the one who came up with the plan.''
