second chance

FIRST KISS

I woke up early in the morning to prepare for my date. The weather was a little hot but perfect so I chose a white dress that reached my knees and put some light makeup. I went out of the house and found a black car that I recognized as Zack's car. I entered the car and called his name.
" Zack!" I was so energetic and talkative to Zack for two reasons. First because he was going to help me, second because he was not as scary as people had described he smiles at me.
" Hello,"
"Where are we going?"

BLAKE'S POV(zack's assistant)

I looked up at the back mirror to take a glance at Iris's face. No wonder the unaffectionate CEO fell in love at first sight. The woman sitting at the back sit was indeed beautiful. Even more beautiful than most people in the entertainment industry. I shook my head and started the car. How dare I take a glance at my boss's woman. It's like I'm tired of life that I want to dig my own grave.

IRIS'S POV
"Didn't you say you wanted to go shopping?" He asked.
" Oh! yeah I forgot, I'm too excited. It's a long time ever since I did this," I said truthfully.

The rest of the ride was silent. We arrived about half an hour later. I couldn't believe I was doing this, I rarely came out if the house in the last few years because of the rumors all over the news about me. I came out if the car and waited for zack. We walked into the shopping mall together. We walked for a while when my stomach started grambling. I remembered that I forgot to eat breakfast because of my excitement. I think the grambling was loud because I heard Zack ask.
" Are you hungry?" I awkwardly scratched my head before answering
"I'm a little hungry," he held my hand and took me to an ice cream. We ended up buying two ice creams. I got strawberry while Zack got plain vanilla.When I finished my ice cream, I looked at Zack and found that he wasn't even about to finish his ice cream.
"You eat slow," I commented. He looked at me and smiled a bit. He reached out his hand gently wiping a pink blotch of ice cream from my lips. I immediately stopped walking and widened my eyes in embarrassment. Zack's smile grew even wider when he saw me blush and his expression was unbelievably gentle and loving. We walked side by side not entering any shop.
"Do you want mine?" Zack suddenly asked.
" Yes please," it was like I was waiting for him to ask.
" But isn't that considered as an indirect kiss, are you fine with that?" I asked. Before I could react Zack suddenly leaned over with his eyes closed and his lips touched mine.
" It's okay now," he said as he handed me the cone and walked away. I was shocked and watched as the ice cream melted and slid into my hand.

What... Just... Happened. I looked at Zack who was already far. That was my first kiss. Even when I dated Matt we had never had any intimate couple actions. The most we did was just hold hands.

ZACK'S POV
I felt my face go red as a tomato as I walked ahead. I bit my lips, which unconsciously turned into a faint and soft smile. That wasn't planned I just had an urge to do it. Would she mad? Should I apologise? This questions were in my head. I slowed down as I heard the sound of someone running. " Thanks for the ice cream!" She exclaimed as she leaked the melting vanilla ice cream. I stared at her for a moment before walking to her side. Can this be considered as a success ? Is she starting to like me too? All these questions continued running in my mind. She finished her ice cream and we started to shop. We started on the second floor that was filled with women's clothes.
" That looks cute," she pointed at a baby pink dress.
" Oh" I said. I turned and walked into one of the stores.
" What are you doing?" She asked.
" Didn't you say this dress was cute" I responded. She then nodded her head.
" So I'm buying it,"
" That dress costs 3000 dollars," she said. I ignored her and handed the cashier a black credit card. She was silent. After shopping for hours we exited the mall.

IRIS'S POV
I watched as Blake at least that is what I remembered his name was helped Zack carry the bags at the back of the car. This shopping was very weird. It was almost as if I was shopping with a bank itself. Even if I just took a second glance at an item, Zack would immediately buy it. So I didn't even know most of the staff that he had bought. I sat back down in the car slowly putting in my seat belt.
" What movie do you want to watch?" Zack asked.
"Any."

I sat on the bench with a large tub of popcorn on my lap as Zack lined up for movie tickets. Zack was very conspicuous in the line of people because of his tall height and extreme attractive face. I noticed a girl around my age from the line next to Zack pull out her phone and take a picture of him. I pouted unhappily as I took a sip of my soda. My boyfriend was way too attractive. Although our relationship was considered fake, it was still annoying when I saw people fangirling over him. I hugged the tub of popcorn before standing up and running over to Zack.
" Why did you come here?"
" I'll wait for you," I said with my sweets smile. After that we went to the movie room, I still didn't know what movie Zack had chosen but I trusted him. I wanted to get more popcorn, but froze when I saw the title of the movie. It was a documentary about something.
" Is this the movie that you picked?" I asked.
" Is the any problem?"
" No," I lied.

ZACK'S POV
A few minutes after the movie had started I felt some weight on my shoulder. I turned to see a cute Iris asleep. I watched her sleep for a while. Watching her sleep was more interesting than watching a documentary . When the documentary was over and the lights turned on. I took off my black suit jacket. I wrapped it around her knees and covered her legs before I lifted her off the chair. She moved a little trying to find a comfortable position in my hands. Her small arms clenched onto my sleeves. As I walked of the theater, I attracted many glances from people

BLAKE'S POV
I was was waiting outside and I tripped over myself when I saw the boss was carrying Iris in his hands. I wondered why she was in his arms.
I ran out to Zack and stretched out my hands for him to hand her over to me." What happened to miss Carter is she okay?" My question received my boss ignoring me. I opened the car door " she is sleeping," he finally answered. I was shocked he couldn't just wake her up. I know he wouldn't do it for anyone not even his mother.

IRIS'S POV
I woke up and found that we were no longer at the theater, but at a restaurant. Since I only ate ice cream for breakfast I was starving.

Once we sat down at the VIP room, some waiters brought about ten dishes. Once I finished my plate of food I realized that I was not alone. I awkwardly looked at Zack who just smiled at me.
"Aren't you hungry?" I asked.
" It's fine I like watching you eat," He responded. I nodded my head and continued eating. The waiter came with a check. I wanted to grab it so that I could pay, but Zack bit me to it.
"I brought you here so I am going to pay," he said. He was such a gentleman. He took me to Tina's place.
" Do you stay here now?" He asked.
" Not really. It's just until I find myself a place to settle."
After he left and I went straight to bed.
