Founded in September 2013 by Jay Park, co-leader of BigBang. AOMG stands for Advanced Ordinary Music Group, the agency is a Hip Hop dedicated label with a goal of shining untapped talent and even those who aren't idols. Cha Cha Malone, Jay's friend was the first artist he signed then a month later Gray joined as main producer.
"Like Dr.Dre did for Deathrow and Birdman for Cash Money, I want to create a space where authentic music can be created. Here we show our love for Hip Hop by taking inspiration by those who molded the culture and making our own style. I want to show the world how South Korea does Hip Hop." Jay replied during a XXL magazine interview.
