Nang makaalis na sina Shu at Claire with some of the General's bodyguards ay lumapit na si Carber sa kinaroroonan ng heneral.

"Sir, what's the plan?" Ito ang kaagad na tanong nito.

"Carber, the police stationed in this area are just playing along."

"Sir? What do you mean?"

"We can't trust them. They're not here to really find my daughter, they're just here to pretend that they're performing their duty."

"So that means they've been paid?"

"Yes. Which means my daughter isn't missing by accident, she was abducted and she's not here in the area to begin with." Seryosong konklusyon ng heneral as he clenched his jaws.

Ito ang seryosong wika nung tumawag sa kanya at tatawa-tawa pa bago tuluyang pinatay ang tawag. Kasunod nu'n ang pagtunog muli ng kanyang cellphone dahil sa dumating na text message.

"General, anung sabi at sino yung tumawag?" Curious namang agad na tanong ni Lt. Carber.

Bumuntong hininga muna siya bago ito harapin. "Carber,"

"Yes Sir?"

"I'll go look for my daughter alone."

"Anu? I'll come with you, Sir."

"No need. I want you to do something important."

"What is it, Sir?"

"You have to secure Shu, Shuntal, and Nana Tacy. Bring them to my safehouse outside the city. Do it secretly. Those bodyguards in the house, we can't trust them. On his way, he has already contacted Paredes to give her instructions since they have to deal with cunning and traitorous people.

Nang marating niya ang lugar ay tumambad sa kanya ang pinangyarihan ng katatapos lamang na pagsabog ng isang sasakyan. He could see corpse everywhere on the ground. Umaapoy pa at umuusok yung sasakyan na sa tantiya niya ay kakatapos lamang sumabog.

He's already expecting something like that, but he still made his way closer to the wrecked car thinking about his daughter. Nanlumo siya sa mga nakikitang bangkay na kinailangan pang madamay sa gulo nila ng first family that he couldn't even understand kung saan talaga nanggagaling at kung anu ang dahilan.

Of course, he knew that they see him as a threat to their status and power ngunit wala naman sa utak niya ang agawin iyun sa mga ito kahit na alam niya ang kasamaan ng mga ito. He just wanted to protect his mom and live in peace while doing his duties and obligations fair and square. 

But they're so paranoid and afraid of his existence na hindi naman niya kasalanan in the first place. Now they've crossed the line for taking countless of lives for the goal to eliminate him. Now it's his daughter and mom which he can no longer just ignore and overlook.

Tutop ang bibig at ilong ay mas lumapit siya sa umuusok na kotse to check if there's anyone alive when he saw a todler, and a woman inside the car. Yung mga lasog lasog na katawan ay nagkalat sa lupa.

"WALANG KIKILOS NG MASAMA! MGA PULIS KAMI! IBABA MO ANG BARIL MO AT SUMUKO KA NA KUNDI MAPIPILITAN KAMING BARILIN KA!"

Isang takas na pagngisi lamang ang naitugon niya dahil sa narinig at binitawan na ang baril na hawak bago dahan-dahang nagtaas ng mga kamay.

Kaagad namang lumapit ang mga pulis sa kanya upang siya'y pusasan. "General Griffin, inaaresto ka namin sa salang pagpatay sa dating AFP Chief Delgado at ang kanyang asawa at tatlong anak na lulan ng kotseng iyung pinasabog. May karapatan kang manahimik at kumuha ng iyung abugado. Anumang sasabihin mo ay maaring gamitin laban sa iyo!" The police remarked as they cuff him before they drag him inside the police car.

He just remained composed and calm, regardless.
