She replied the second I sent her that message.

We ended up talking through the night and the next day she was at my doorstep.

She waited for me to get ready and we both walked the halls together.

"Don't worry ok?" She said, feeling the sweat on my hands and seeing the raw the bright pink in my face.

I'm nervous and she knows.

She tries calming me down. I tell her I'm fine and try to keep my heart from jumping out of my chest.

I see Pearl. The former girlfriend of Rohan.

She and her minions laugh and gossip as we walk pass.

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be, they're just jerks."

We then split, moving to different classes.

We are required to learn 1 other language as a subject. I chose Goric, the language of the zombies.

I am friends with one so it works out.

Our teacher, Mr Robins.

I sit at the back of each class to stay undetected. In this class I am alone. Class full of people but none of them seeing me.

At least so I thought.

I hear a voice coming from my right.

"You're Duncan's friend right? I'm Carly." She wraps a cloth around her hair to cover her snakes. She's a goregaon.

"Urr, yeah, yeah."

"He told me about you."

How many people have he told about me?

"Did he ever mention me?" She asks.

One of many weaknesses, lying. "Urr.......no, sorry." So I told the truth.

Was that the right answer? I feel like it wasn't.

"Well it was nice meeting you."

"Um, same here."

Later I am getting yelled at by Duncan.

I hate being yelled at.

"Why would you say I never told you about her?" Duncan asks.

"Because you didn't."

"She didn't know that."

"So you wanted me to lie?"

"Exactly! Now she thinks I'm trying to keep us a secret."

"I'm sorry."

Duncan takes a deep breath before sighing. "It's ok. Oh by the way I got the TV."

"How?"

"I just asked my parents to bring my TV from back home."

"I see."

"Now about playing Stay Alive on your console."

He plays the monster, I play the human.

When play for 3 hours straight before realising I forgot to meet up with Willow.

As I arrive I find her sitting on an old couch waiting for me.

"You're late." Willow says

"You...... You waited for me?"

"I wanted to know what you thought about my latest work."

I scan through the wall with eyes craving to see more. "This might be your best one yet."

I look at her.

She hides her joy. I can tell by the way she forces that smile to disappear from her face.

I still saw it, even if it was just a second.

"You going to the dance?"

My immediate answer would be no.

"Yeah."

That's if Catherine wants to.

"You going with someone?"

"Um, I haven't asked her yet."

"Oh I see............ So there is someone."
"Surprised?" I ask. He gives me a look before turning her head.

"What about you?"

"No. Dances aren't really my thing anyway."

As I walk back to campus I am stopped by a large figure in front of me.

This can't be good.
