The next few days, Sam had to adjust to the feeling of having part of his soul connected to Klaus. It was a bit troublesome due to his emotional state shifting when he felt Klaus's anger.

"Sam, are you sure you're okay," Dean asked for the tenth time.

"I said I'm fine, Dean," Sam snapped.

Dean brushed it off, even though Sam's face instantly shifted into guilt.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you..."

"It's fine. I understand. It's a soulmate thing," Dean smirked, "When's the last time you two spoke?"

"I don't know. He's been busy," Sam shrugged.

"Have you called him," Dean asked, knowing he received his number before Klaus left.

"I texted. He hasn't responded," Sam said, "I feel like I gave away part of my soul and now I'm being ghosted."

Dean sighed deeply and got up.

"I'll be back. Don't attack anyone while I'm gone," Dean said.

"I'll try not to," Sam teased, smiling playfully.

Dean left the room as Wilson walked in. He was dressed in his Falcon suit attire... Or at least his new attire. His suit held the colors of the flag on it. Almost like he matched Steve's suit.

"Hey, Sam," Wilson greeted.

"Hey, what's up," Sam smiled, his heart skipping at Wilson remembering his name.

Although, it probably wasn't hard to remember. They had the same damn name. But Sam was currently in a world of delusion when it came to Wilson.

"Nothing much. Work mostly. You doing better," Wilson asked.

"Yeah. I'm learning to deal with the whole soulmate issue," Sam smiled, "It's a lot more difficult than I thought."

"Well if you ever need my help..."

Sam's phone rang loudly in his pocket.

"I'm sorry. Hold that thought," Sam said, looking at the number before answering, "Klaus?"

"Who are you talking to," Klaus asked, his tone accusatory, "Why is your heart skipping a beat?! Are you flirting with someone?"

Sam knitted his eyebrows as he realized Klaus felt his emotions as well. Did that mean he was jealous?

"I'm just talking to Sam. The other Sam. He's a friend of..."

"Are you attracted to him," Klaus interrupted.

"Klaus, you've been ghosting me for days. Why would it matter to you," Sam asked.

"Because you're mine, Sam! That's why," Klaus snapped, "I don't share what's mine!"

"Calm the fuck down," Sam commanded, feeling his anger transferring to him.

Klaus felt himself instantly cool down at the command.

"I don't mean to be rude, love. I'm just stressed out over the soul thing. Not to mention, I'm worried about you getting hurt," Klaus blurted.

Why was he telling this man his insecurities? He never speaks his insecurities to anyone like this. Must be a soulmate thing as well.

"Why not just call or text me back, so we can figure it out together? Do you realize how angry I've been because of you," Sam scolded, "Your emotions effect me too."

Klaus winced at the scolding. He scratched his head with a frustrated sigh.

"I'm also worried that you wouldn't like me. If you knew everything, you'd reject me again," Klaus said, recalling the soul rejection.

"Klaus, if you don't give me a chance, then how would you know? I'm not exactly a saint either," Sam reasoned, "You have to allow me to know you. Stop being so uptight and prideful with me."

There was a moment of silence. Klaus was really trying to fight that command. This was another reason he's been avoiding Sam. The commands they give each other is practically impossible to disobey.

"Okay. But I want you to stop flirting with the other Sam," Klaus said.

"I'm not flirting with him," Sam said.

"Then stop letting him flirt with you," Klaus snapped.

"He's not flirting either," Sam said, feeling a rush of confusion come from both him and Klaus.

"Then why is your heart skipping," Klaus asked.

"Because he's cool as fuck and kind to me," Sam smirked.

"I'm kind and cool too," Klaus blurted, jealousy rushing through him again.

Sam smothered a laugh and hummed.

"Then maybe you should answer my texts and calls next time," Sam teased.

"Sam, you're impossible to please," Klaus sassed, rubbing his temple.

Sam rolled his eyes at Klaus's dramatic complaint.

"I should go..."

"Tell me you love me," Klaus commanded.

"Why would... I love you, Klaus," Sam blurted, "I'll text you later."

Sam hung up before his eyes grew wide. Klaus has control over him too.

"Oh no," Sam whispered.

Klaus beamed happily at the phone. So that command thing really does work both ways. He added that to the journal in front of him.
