Chapter 25

Belle pov

My eyes fluttered open to be blinded by white.

White walls.

White bed.

White sheets.

Bright white light shining through the window.

It was overpowering and I knew exactly where I was.

The hospital.

Again.

I looked around to see my leg in a sling wrapped in a thick cast. I was in pain, but continued looking around.

My eyes landed on my sleeping angel on the chair next to me holding my hand tightly.

I didn't want to wake him so I just stared at his peaceful face sleeping. I smiled slightly and I heard the door open. I looked over to see a nurse walking in.

She looked at Niall and walked over to me whispering.

"Happy your awake. How are you feeling?"

"Okay. Just hurts."

She nodded and scribbled on the clipboard.

"I'll bring you back some medicine."

I grabbed her arm before she could leave.

"How long has he been here?"

She looked at him and then me smiling sweetly.

"He hasn't left your side. We had to force him to eat though."

I giggled quietly looking back over at him smiling as the nurse left the room.

I took my thumb gently rubbing it over his large hand.

His eyes fluttered so I stopped and he opened his eyes squinting as the light shine brightly through the window.

He looked around, his eyes landing on my smiling face.

"Belle!"

I giggled as he jumped up coming over to me planting a sweet kiss on my lips.

"I'm so happy your okay."

I smiled nodding, enjoying the moment.

He sat back down and never let go of my hand.

"Are they gone? For good?"
