when they sneak up on you

soobin:

- after a long day of work, and seeing how soobin still wasn't home yet, you decided to finally sit yourself down and watch the video of soobin and kai appearing on ch'i'ld cloud, done with missing out on the adorable clips of your boyfriend after seeing so many edits on social media

- you knew it was going to be adorable, but to what extent you had not prepared yourself for

- about five minutes in, when soobin and kai finally appeared to meet the twin girls, you were already ready to melt at how cute he looked popping into the frame to introduce himself, and instantly melted when you saw one of the girls run to hug him immediately, reminding you of how he interacted with your niece whenever there was a family get-together

- it was an understatement to say that soobin was good with kids, but he was exceptionally good at interacting with girls, seeing how your niece absolutely adored her uncle soobin made you come to the conclusion that he was definitely a girl dad

- you were so engrossed in the video and too busy being whipped for your boyfriend that you didn't even notice him coming back home despite him accidentally knocking into the shoe cupboard and quietly swearing under his breath

- "what're you watching?" you heard a voice behind you and felt a pair of arms wrap around your shoulders, almost getting the fright of your life as you turned to the side immediately to find soobin smiling at you

- resting his head on your shoulder, he peeked over and saw your tablet paused on the scene of one of the twins kissing his cheek while you try to tear your attention away from the screen, quite literally overwhelmed with cuteness and not knowing how to react

- you close the cover of the tablet, placed it on the coffee table and turned to look at him seriously. "this might be the cutest video i've ever seen in my whole life," you said, still having that serious expression on your face and he couldn't help but laugh at how your expressions and the words you were saying weren't exactly matching up

- after soobin had washed up, the two of you ended up watching the videos together on the couch, with you resisting the urge to kiss his cheek every time a cute scene of his popped up

- "shall we ask if my sister is free this weekend? i'm sure hana will be so excited to see you again after a while," you suggested after the video ended, and soobin smiled and nodded

- "are you sure it's hana who wants to see me and not you wanting to see me interacting with your niece?" he asked teasingly while you protested, though your smile gave it away

yeonjun:

- you were washing the dishes in the kitchen after lunch, with 'back for more' playing in the background, singing your lungs out as you scrubbed the plates

- yeonjun had texted you to let you know that he had an extra schedule and would be going home late that night so you were having the time of your life blasting their songs throughout the house for the whole afternoon

- when the song approached the dance break you quickly put the clean plates onto the drying rack and wiped your hands on your shorts, ready to bust out a few dance moves

- just as you were shuffling back and forth the kitchen, and was ready to execute the flying kick your boyfriend had done, you felt his presence and turned to see him standing at the kitchen counter, watching you amusedly

- momentarily in shock, you accidentally stubbed your toe on the counter, and froze, feeling the intense pain that was causing your toe to throb

- "shit-" you swore, instantly clutching at your toe while yeonjun's amused smile quickly vanished as he rushed up to you, scooping you up without a word and placed you on the couch, before worriedly checking if you had injured yourself, apologising over and over for scaring you
