watching a horror movie with them

soobin:

- he doesn't particularly like watching horror movies, neither did you, but since it was halloween, the two of you decided to watch one at your place that night

- throughout the movie, he would keep getting startled by the jumpscares and swear under his breath, but still making sure to cover your eyes with his hands

- apart from the jumpscares, soobin enjoyed the movie for the mystery plot while you were getting over jumpscare after jumpscare, grabbing onto his arm for dear life

- he would keep one arm around you, holding your hand whenever you need to squeeze his

- after the movie, he had planned to go home, but seeing how you were scared to even walk in the hallway to your room after that made him decide to stay to keep you company

- if he was being honest, he was still a little spooked by the movie so it was a win-win situation

- in the end, the two of you slept on the couch together, hiding inside a makeshift fort with pillows and blankets, jumping at every random sound in the night

- when you had the urge to go to the washroom in the middle of the night, you nudged soobin awake, pulling your half-awake boyfriend along and making sure he stood outside while you were inside

- unfortunately for you, he suddenly heard the room door creak from the wind and let out a small shriek before running back to the fort, leaving you alone in the washroom

yeonjun:

- yeonjun loves horror movies, or rather, he liked the thrill, so when you said you wanted to try watching a horror movie with him, he was instantly down

- he insisted on switching off all the lights in his living room, "to create the vibe, you know?" he had said while you were trying to make him leave at least one light on, knowing he was afraid deep down and that he was just putting on a brave front

- while you were watching through your fingers, yeonjun was actually enjoying the movie, apart from a few jumpscares where he screamed, and laughing at certain parts even though you didn't find the jumpscares funny in the slightest

- being a tease, he would definitely try to scare you in between scenes or after the movie, making you jump or let out a curse with just a small "boo!"

- "WHAT THE F-" you screamed when he suddenly tapped your shoulders with enough force to scare you

- satisfied with your reaction, he would laugh so hard until tears came out of his eyes but then an unexpected jumpscare suddenly appears and he screamed way louder than you, causing you to laugh at him

- when he can feel that you're actually really scared, he would pull you closer and laced his fingers with yours, rubbing comforting circles on the back of your hand to calm your nerves, calming himself down at the same time

- after the movie, you were still jumpy so he offered to send you back home and ended up staying the night there to keep you company, promising that when you wake up the next morning, he would still be there

beomgyu:

- you knew beomgyu wasn't scared of horror movies and you wanted to try watching one to overcome your childhood phobia of them, so he came over to your place with chips and ice cream, and the two of you sat on the couch and put on a horror movie

- because of how often he games, when it comes to horror-related things, beomgyu wasn't really that afraid and didn't flinch when there were jumpscares

- you on the other hand, couldn't help but quickly look away and snuggle into his side whenever you sensed a jumpscare was coming

- "y/n, it's alright now, the thing is gone," beomgyu would say, patting your back and you would peek out only to be faced with yet another jumpscare, and he quickly covered your eyes for you whenever that happened

- he would offer to hold your hand while feeding you chips with his other hand and eventually got you to watch through the second half of the whole movie with only half the screaming compared to the first half, which he counted as a huge accomplishment

- "it wasn't so scary right?" he would ask after the movie as you looked at him, a weak smile on your face before shaking your head furiously

- "you screamed less during the second half though, good job," he said, kissing you as he was trying to persuade you that it wasn't as bad as you thought it was

taehyun:

- taehyun doesn't actively find horror movies to watch but it so happened that a horror movie was playing on the tv on halloween night and you were at his place, so the two of you decided to watch it

- he would be a little scared when the movie suddenly goes silent and would hold your hand while you gripped his hand tightly, bracing yourself for the jumpscare

- during the movie, both you and taehyun were constantly going "woah woah woah" when something popped up, cuddling with each other tightly under the blanket

- he would honestly want to fall asleep halfway through the horror movie but stayed awake because you liked the thrill of watching it despite being scared

- "i think i'm going to get nightmares tonight." "me too."

- you decided to stay at his house for the night given that it was almost midnight when the movie ended and taehyun felt that it wasn't safe for you to go back home on your own that late

- the two of you ended up ordering in supper and were just playing a board game together on the living room floor when the doorbell suddenly rang, causing the two of you to jump a little

- "i'll go get it," taehyun offered, knowing you were too scared to go to the door, but you insisted on following him, not wanting to be left alone in the living room

hueningkai:

- you had never watched a horror movie before and wanted to watch one with your boyfriend, thinking it would be fun like what most people said about horror movies

- however, the moment the intro started playing, you couldn't help but snuggle closer to kai, gathering the whole bunch of soft toys on the couch as a protective blanket around the two of you

- the first jumpscare scared the living hell out of you and honestly made you question your decision to watch a horror movie

- kai didn't even flinch for most of the jumpscares and you had to wonder how on earth did he manage to keep a straight face and stay unbothered in the scariest scenes

- "you okay? should we watch something else?" kai asked, noticing how you were gripping onto his arm really tightly and peeking through your fingers to watch the movie

- you decided you had enough of horror movies and the two of you decided to watch whatever anime kai had been wanting to watch, deciding that horror was not your favourite genre of movies at all

- for the rest of the night, you and kai cuddled on the couch with his soft toys watching anime until you feel asleep halfway through

- in the middle of the night, you were having a bad nightmare probably from the horror movie and woke up sweating and suddenly hearing all sorts of noises echoing through the house

- kai felt your movements and woke up, checking if you were alright, and pulled you closer to him, singing to you till you drifted off to sleep again
