(Start in PEARL and MARINA's apartment. TIMO is sitting on the couch on his phone. FRYE enters from the kitchen.)
Frye-You're not working on the Dream Box?
Timo-Nope. We've hit a road block. There's no way we can get them out of the Memverse without the password to run as administrator, either to eject them from the outside or to delete Bridgett's memories and cause the crash.
(FRYE sits down next to him.)
Frye-Tell me if I'm crazy, but I have a bad feeling about deleting Bridgett's memories.
Timo-Why's that?
Frye-I think it's because Bridgett has brain coral. She's already losing memories. Now they've been uploaded to a place where they can live on in case she forgets them, and we're going to delete those, too?
Timo-Good point. Perhaps we should focus on unblocking the eject command.
Frye-Good idea.
(She gets up.)
Timo-Where are you going?
Frye-I'm going to give Shiver a call. I'm feeling kind of homesick right now.
(She gets up and leaves the room, leaving TIMO by himself.)
Timo-Okay.
(Opening theme. Cut to the elevator. The gang is gathered together. ACHT has three chips: a red one, an orange one, and a turquoise one.)
Acht-Here are your choices. You can add another Poison Ink chip, you can increase your splash radius, or you can up your drone gauge charge.
Pearl-(chanting) Drone gauge charge, drone gauge charge, drone gauge charge...
Monii-Pearl, this is my decision to make.
Pearl-Come ooooon! I haven't gotten any action since we got here except for, like, two splat bombs.
(MONII sighs.)
Monii-Fine, we'll take the drone gauge charge.
Pearl-Yes!
(She activates the Palette.)
Pearl-Pop it in!
(MONII takes the turquoise chip and puts it in the palette. The doors open, and they step onto the ninth floor.)
Acht-Defeat the fleeing foes!
(They step into the cage, and it carries them onto the floor. They drop over the pyramid taking up the floor. BRIDGETT glides to the sleeping Jelleton on the front left corner of the floor. She aims at the top next to it. It wakes up and rolls away.)
Bridgett-Wait! Come back! I want to shoot you!
(She kicks the top and hits the Jelleton on the head. It keeps rolling away. It collides with a second Jelleton, waking it up. MONII sees the regular Jelletons coming over the pyramid.)
Monii-Um, Bridgett. I think we've got more on our plate.
(Xe starts firing at the Jelletons.)
Monii-Hey, look. Our ink is green now.
Acht-You must have added so many drone chips that their color dominated the others.
Pearl-Does that make me the most powerful member of the team?
Acht-No.
(MONII splats a springing Jelleton, leaving behind a spring pad. Xe springs up into the air, as do two other springing Jelletons.)
