Hiro-They have Splatfests in Inkopolis, Shumi. So who are you gonna pick? I know you don't know the newscasters that well, but--
(INKURA puts her Splashtag in the appropriate slot and slams her fist on the Frye button.)
Hiro-I guess you do.
(A drawer in the kiosk with a yellow tee in it opens. INKURA takes it out.)
Inkura-Frye seems nice. I feel like she and I could be besties.
Shumi-Hiro's a huge Frye fan. (to HIRO) You got your Team Frye shirt yet?
Hiro-Actually, Neru and I have a bet. If Shiver wins, I owe her 500 geso. If not, she owes me.
Shumi-Which means...
Hiro-I joined Team Shiver, and I'm gonna throw to make sure they lose!
Shumi-But there's so many people on Team Shiver not throwing that it'll never work!
Hiro-Says Miss Big Man Sweep.
Shumi-Big Man Sweep!
Hiro-(to SPIDER and BRIDGETT) What about you two?
Spider-That depends. Who won the last Splatfest?
Shumi-Shiver.
Spider-Then I pick her.
(He puts his Splashtag in the slot and presses the Shiver button. The drawer dispenses a blue T-shirt. SPIDER takes it out.)
Hiro-That just leaves you, Bridgett.
(BRIDGETT walks up to the kiosk. She puts her Splashtag in the slot. She stands there thinking for several seconds.)
Bridgett-Hm...decisions, decisions...
Inkura-Which one's the most attractive?
(BRIDGETT presses the Shiver button. The drawer dispenses a blue T-shirt. BRIDGETT picks it up.)
Hiro-Really? Another one for Team Shiver? How are we supposed to lose now?
Bridgett-We don't!
Shumi-That's what you think. Oh, this is going to be so cai!
Spider/Inkura/Bridgett-Huh?
Shumi-You know. Caigaibo!
Hiro-Still Salmonid.
(SHUMI huffs.)
Shumi-Fun!
(They begin walking towards SquidForce Tower.)
Hiro-Why didn't you just say that?
Shumi-'Cause there isn't a good translation in Inkish. It's like fun but with more chaotic overtones.
(Opening theme. Cut to Museum D'Alfonsino. SHIVER and FRYE are commentating.)
Shiver-Here we are on Museum D'Alfonsino for another Tower Control battle!
Frye-The team colors are yellow and blue!
(BRIDGETT, HIRO, and INKURA are blue. BRIDGETT has the Slosher. SPIDER and SHUMI are yellow.)
Shiver-Looks like we've got a Slosher on each team. Frye, what do you think of that?
Frye-I think that I hope they have fun.
