Audrey's Pov

“It's already morning.” I said, sitting down properly as I stared outside the window.

I haven't gotten enough sleep because I waited, I waited for her call or message. She promised so I did wait but it never happened.

“Are you awake? It's already 10.” Mom knocked on my door and yes, I'm already late but we still have an event, last day of our school fair.

“Good morning.” I responded, letting my mom hear my voice and I've heard footsteps, walking away from my room.

I did my morning routine, I just woke up but I already felt I've used all of my energy. I feel so really tired. Once I finished everything, I went downstairs and saw my mom, having her breakfast.

“Here.” Mom handed me a paper bag and I frowned.

“Ano 'yan?” tanong ko at kinuha ito sakanya.

“Bada went here and she asked me to give you that.” Mom said, smiling at me.

So Bada went here?!

“Why didn't you wake me up?” tanong ko sakanya habang chineck yung laman ng paper bag. A coffee and bread.

“Ayaw niya eh. Hindi rin naman siya nagtagal kanina.”

“Hindi man lang niya ako hinintay?”

“She seems in rush. See you na lang daw sa school.” Mom said.

“Pero dati hinihintay naman niya ako.” I whispered and sat down, joining my mom.

“Eh bakit parang ang lungkot mo? Akala ko ba—” I cut her off.

“Fine, kinain ko na lahat ng sinabi ko. Ma, I like her.” pag-amin ko at napapikit na lang kasi alam kong aasarin niya ako.

“Edi good for you.”

“Eh?” agad akong napatingin sakanya at nginitian niya lang ako.

“Anong reaksyon yan? Bada is nice and I know she will take care of you.” Mom said as she reached out my hands and started caressing it.

We've had a peaceful breakfast and I never been this so happy, I feel like everything is falling into the right place—I hope it really would.

“Anong ngiti yan? Parang nanalo tayo ah.” tukso ng mga kaklase ko pagkarating na pagkarating ko ng school.

“Tumigil nga kayo.” I laughed and put my things down.

“Pumasok na si Bada ah kaso hindi na namin mahagilap eh.”

“Nasaan ba siya?” tanong ko sakanila.

“Kanina nagbabantay ng booth tapos ayun biglang umalis. She's acting strange. Don't tell me nag-away kayo?” sabi ni Drew at napapailing na lang.

“We're good and What do you mean by that?”

“Bada looks different and she seems anxious all the time.” this time si Jewel naman yung sumagot kaya mas lalo lang akong naguguluhan.

She seems fine to me or I'm just too blind to notice her sudden changes... Well we haven't really seen each other for almost 2 days. Okay I admit, she looks really different last night hmm how should I put this one? Nagsimula lahat ito after my confession.

Did my confession really make her so uncomfortable?

“Ang lala niyo talaga. Baka may pinagdadaanan lang yung tao.” pagtatanggol naman ni Hanna kay Bada.
