“Ano? Bakit sa dance club ka sumali? Akala ko ba sasali tayo sa photography club?” Laine constantly nags me ever since I arrived at school.
I forgot to tell her about it and she just heard it somewhere. We planned to join the photography club but as you could see, I already joined somewhere else.
“Laine, ang aga aga mo namang mambulabog.” pabiro kong sagot sakanya habang inaayos mga gamit ko.
“Kaibigan ba talaga turing mo saakin? Simula nang dumating si Bada, lumalayo na loob mo saakin tapos lagi na lang kayong magkasama. You guys just met but it seems like you've known her first than me.”
“What? That's not true!”
“It's true! You love her around than me, your first best friend.” Laine responded and turned her back on me.
“Hey, are you mad? I'm sorry If you feel that way.” but she just ignored me.
I've never left her behind and I will stand by it. Siya nga yung panay ang iwas saamin ni Bada kahit na ang totoo, gusto talaga siyang kaibiganin ni Bada. Why would she be mad if I got another friend? Aish nevermind.
“Lalim ng iniisip mo ah.” bulong niya na ikinagulat ko.
“Ano ba?!” singhal ko sakanya at nilingon ito dahilan para parehas kaming magulat.
I turned to see who was the person behind me and that's when I realized it was Bada, sitting in the back with her chin resting on my chair. Our faces were only inches apart and at the same time my heart skipped a beat.
“Good morning.” Bada greeted me with a smile on her face and didn't even dare to look away.
“B-bakit nandyan ka?” naiilang kong tanong sakanya at inilayo kaunti mukha ko.
“Ah so gusto mo akong katabi? Okay.” Bada teasingly said and sat beside me. Lol we're seatmates.
“Kapal mo talaga.”
“Ayaw pang umamin.”
“Kasi wala naman akong aaminin.”
“Hmm okay.”
“Tsk.”

Nasa cafeteria ako mag-isa. Yes, mag-isa dahil iniiwasan ako ni Laine. Ayoko naman siyang kulitin at sanay na rin ako sa ganitong routine. She always gets mad at me and just for days, we will be fine again.
“Ayan daw yung hinintay ni Bada kahapon para mag-audition.” rinig kong bulungan ng mga girls sa kabilang table.
“Talaga?”
“Oo and sabi nung iba, magaling daw yan. Diba ayan din yung sumali last year sa school pageant? Alam ko 2nd runner up siya eh.”
“Kaya pala pamilyar mukha. Infairness maganda pala talaga siya kaya siguro type na type ni Bada.”
Ano raw? Bakit ba ganito mga students dito? Yung bulungan nila, rinig na rinig tapos ang ending ako pa mahihiya sa mga pinagsasasabi nila.
“Mismo. Alam mo naman si Bada matinik sa mga babae.” dahil dun nilingon ko na sila at nagkatinginan kaming tatlo.
“Ay sorry.” they said and I just rolled my eyes.
After buying my food, I decided to go outside. I saw an empty bench and sat there while I was having a peaceful break, someone quietly joined me.
