Dance with me

I was awake the whole time Link was asleep, Link rested his head on my chest as I red my book

"What book are you reading" he asks looking up at me

"The flora and fauna of Hyrule" I say showing him the cover of the book "your hairs so cute when it's messy" I say playing around with his hair

"Thank you" he says, his cheeks bright red "your beautiful" he whispers and I smile, my cheeks brighter than his

"Thank you" I say, grinning uncontrollably "I'm so glad we're back together" I say and he nods

"Me too mon ange me too" he says leaning up to kiss me (my angel)

I savour this kiss, his lips are always so soft. Link sat up his lips still connected to mine

Link pulls away from me and I move on top of his lap "Happy new year" he whispers

"Happy new year" I say back giving him a wide smile "we should do something" I say in an assertive voice

"What do you suggest?" He asks and I start to think and he laughs at me

"What?" I ask looking into his eyes

"Your just so cute, especially your thinking face" he says kissing my cheek

"Oh" I say my cheeks going as bright as the red on a voltfruit "well umm" I continue to think with a small smile on my face, the more I think the more I think about Midna and the more worried I get "we should go find Midna" I say and he runs his thumb over the small cut on my throat

"No" he shakes his head, looking at my neck and then back up at me "I'm sorry Zelda I cant let you do that" he says and I look at him with a worried face but it doesn't seem to persuade him

"Ok" I say getting off of him and off the bed completely

"I cant let you out yourself in danger like that" he says as I pick up the blanket I put over her

"Ok" I say again folding the blanket up

"Don't be mad" he says as I put the blanket away

"Don't worry I'm not" I say giving we him a small smile "well we have to make the most of today because tomorrow...we are back at Uni" I tell him and he looks at me in confusion

"We are?" He asks and I nod

"We go back a week after Christmas which is technically today but they let us off because it's new years" I say quickly before putting my Flora and Fauna of Hyrule book away

"Oh okay" he says before getting up and walking over to me. He stood behind me and wrapped his arms around me and put his chin on my shoulder "I love you" he whispers in my ear

"I love you too" I say turning my head slightly so I could see him in the corner of my eyes "dance with me" I say and he shakes his head with a small nod but before he can get away I spin him around and place my arms around his neck

"We don't even have any music to dance too" he says and I start swaying to get him started and he puts his hands on my waist

"Are you sure about that?" I say before removing one of my arms and pulling my phone out of my back pocket and playing any random song

I place my arm back where it was and throwing my phone on the bed "did you pick this song or..." he asks beginning to laugh and I don't fully understand until I properly hear the lyrics

*I thought: ride by sir mix-a-lot but you can really imagine what song you wont it was the first one that came to my mind lol*

"Oh my god" I say laughing myself and I rush to turn it off before my Father hears

"I have a feeling it's too late" he whispers and I hear heavy footsteps make their way to the front of my door

"Zelda" he says knocking on my door

"Come in Father" I say sitting down on the ottoman at the bottom of my bed

"What on earth was that!" He says and Link tries to stop himself from laughing

"Sorry Father, I put on a random song and it just happened to be that" I say hiding my face, also laughing

"Ok, don't let it happen again I happened to be on a very important phone call with my lawyer" he says and I look at him in confusion

"What? Why do you need a lawyer?" I ask

"I'm taking Midna to court" he reveals and I stare at him in shock

"Why?" I ask and he sighs

"She cut your neck Zelda" he says and I aggressively shake my head

"No you cant take her to court please!" I beg "she didn't know what she was doing Father! She woke in a strange house with someone leaning over her you would freak out too!" I say and after a lot of repeating myself Father finally agrees to drop it

Me and Link stayed at Fathers, I collected my stuff from Urbosa's said goodbye and welcomed my old room again, I was so glad to be home and my father seemed to show actual care for me which was nice but sometimes it was a bit overwhelming

It started to feel like having a normal family, we ate dinner with each other everyday, we had movie nights and we had weekly lunches at Urbosa's

Uni started way too quickly, I had so many assignments piling up and one of the rules Father had assigned was that I was to stay on top of my school work. It was never a trouble before so it wouldn't be now

Father put more pictures up of mother and me and Link went on date nights. We have our fights sometimes but like Revali said we always get back together and Link started to open up to me more, he talked to me about his sister and he stopped threatening Ganondorf and Toruma which was good

Tay and Ruvara got back together which Link wasn't very pleased with but it wasn't his call to make plus Tay knew Ruvara a year before I even knew he existed. We found Midna at another party but this time, for the sake of my throat, we left her alone

Fi came over to England and she joined Nayru Uni, she fit in amazingly and she also met Impa at the Goddess Tavern and they started talking, I think they would make an amazing couple though they do say opposites attract and I think they're pretty similar

Ganondorf is still in prison he gets parole with good behaviour in about 3 years and last but certainly not least Revali finally talked to Mipha though I don't think she's quite over Link yet

A/N: I'm going to do a epilogue to this but a sequel set a few years in the future, (we will get to see more Miphvali) I loved writing this and look out for more books to come in the near future ;) also HAPPY 2024!!! Have a healthy, wealthy and prosperous new year, Thank you so much
