I woke up in my old room hugging Navi tightly lying in someones arms "Link?" I say before looking up, "Mum?" I say looking into her beautiful blue eyes
"Your so beautiful little bird" she whispers to my running her fingers through my long blonde hair "and I'm so proud of you" she says with her warm loving smile
"I miss you mum" I say hugging her waist
"I miss you too, so so much" she says hugging me back "your Father trying his best, it's hard raising a daughter on your own" she says before I wake up in a cold sweat
"Zelda?" Link asks with sleepy eyes "are you okay" he asks as I get out the bed
"Yeah I'm just going to get some water" I say with a small smile before walking out the room
I walk halfway down the stairs when I hear quiet sobbing and soft voices. "I cant lose her Urbosa! She's all I have left of Eleanor!" I hear Father say and I was about to go and say something like "you should've thought about that before you threw all of her paintings out" but I remember what Link and my Mother told me
I just sit at the bottom of the stairs listening to their conversation "she's so similar to her especially when she's with Link" Urbosa says "sometimes I still think El is here with us" she laughs and so does father
"Don't suspend Link" she says and everything goes quiet
"Why shouldn't I he broke the rules" he says and she sighs
"He was protecting Zelda, not directly but he was still protecting her and he was saving our name" She says placing her cup down
"Our name?" He says and Urbosa lets out another sigh
"Just like the rest of the students and staff we have rumours going around about us and ours is that we are sleeping together" she says standing up to refill her drink
"What do we do about it?" He says and she shrugs, he gets up and walks over to her
She turns around to face him and they stare into each other's eyes "no" I whisper tears forming in the corners of my eyes as they kiss. I run back upstairs and burst into my room
"Link!" I say running over to the bed in tears
"Whats wrong?" He asks encasing me into a warm hug
"They've betrayed her Link!" I say crying into his chest "They are betraying my mother! And they were talking about her moments before they did it!" I say and he tightens his arms around him
"Your gonna have to be a little more specific my love" he says looking down at him
"They kissed Link!" I say looking up at him
"Urbosa and your father?" He asks and I nod when a knock comes from the door
"Zelda?" Urbosa asks slowly opening the door "Zelda I'm sorry!" She says but I ignore her
"Zelda look" my Father says and I hide in Link's chest
"Go away!" I sniffle hugging Link tighter
"Zelda we need to talk about this" he says
"What do we have to talk about? The fact that you said 'I promise you I would never get with your father Zelda, he's Eleanors, ' or the fact that you 2 were sucking each others faces off right after you were talking about my mother!" I say sitting up "you promised me Urbosa" I say tears rolling down my cheek
"I know little bird bu--" Urbosa says and I cut her off
"Don't you dare call me what she used to call me! You have no right!" I yell at her
"It's okay Zel" Link says hugging me tightly as I cry into his chest "I'll calm her down" Link says shooing them away
"She promised me Link" I say looking up at him
"I know but sometimes people unintentionally break their promises" he says "it might've been a spur of the moment thing, Like when you hugged Ganondorf" he says with a sour tone in his voice
"How do you know that?" I ask
"Impa told me" he says "but what I'm saying is people do things that they cant explain sometimes" he says "Urbosa could've been drinking, we don't know" he says, I know this is trying to comfort me but it's kind of making it worse
"We should just go and talk to them and get it over with" I say
"Are you sure" he asks and I nod "I'm always here for you okay?" He says and I nod before hugging me one less time
I walk down the stairs with Link by my side and when I enter the kitchen Urbosa stands up "Zelda" she says looking at me with sorry eyes
"Why?" I say not entering the Kitchen just standing in the doorway next to Link
"It just happened" she says "you've done it before! When you first met Link you hated him and now look at you two!" She says and I look at the floor, I was horrible to Link sometimes
"We still love your mother and we will never forget her" she says
"But" I sigh sensing that she was going to put one in there anyway so I did it for her
"sometimes people catch feelings" Father finishes off but I don't look at him my eyes stay on Urbosa
"Do you have feelings for him" I say, I feel disgusted by my Father I cant even look at him
"I don't know" she whispers, she doesn't she just doesn't want to hurt my fathers feelings
"So why did you kiss him" I ask, my Father goes to say something but I shush him
"I don't know!" She says
"Have you slept with him?" I ask her
"God no!" She says and I laugh,
"Have you kissed before said moment" I ask and she shakes her head and I smile at her
"Okay" I whisper before going to hug her "I'm sorry, I was already upset about mum and seeing that just pushed me over the edge" I say and she hugs me back
"It's okay little bird" she says hugging me tightly
"Please never do it again" I say
"Never" she says with a soft smile
"I think I'm going to go" Father says and Urbosa sees him out
"Well that was stressful" Link says with a relaxed sigh
"I don't know how I would've got through today without you" I say hugging him tightly "I love you" I say pecking him on his cheek
"I love you too" he says kissing my head gently
"Zel as soon as he kissed me I pushed him off of me, I promise you" she says as she she walks in
"It's okay, I shouldn't have overreacted like that. Father needs to move on and be Happy and you deserve to find someone" I say with a smile " I'm getting tired so I'll see you tomorrow" I say hugging her before walking up the stares with Link
