"What the hell are you doing in my room, Ashley?"
I froze at his harsh tone, and for the first time, I took a good look at his expression, and I felt my heart sink.
"I'm sorry," I replied in a dull tone
"I guess I didn't think. I was just so happy to hear that you were back, and I couldn't wait to see you. I will leave now." Saying so, I quickly turned and exited the room as fast as I had come in, not wanting to be embarrassed any further.
He didn't seem the least bit happy to see me. In fact, quiet the opposite, actually. He looked upset and I couldn't understand why. What had happened? Had I done something wrong? Or had he met someone else within the two months he was there.
