"She was flirting with you."

"She tried to sell me a shield."

"And?"

"I said no."

"To which one?"

"Both."

To say that Kirito like Lizbeth was hardly anything. He hated her voice and she kept getting really close. She got into his personal space, which was only open to select people. Asuna scanned him as he stretched.

"By the way... thanks for saving me with that message. She was getting too close for comfort."

"How would you know?"

"She touched my arm."

Asuna snorted softly before he heard some chuckling. One glare and that chuckling was turned into laughter.

"Aw- the great demon solo player doesn't like being touched?"

"I stabbed my sister. I will stab others. Do not touch me unless you have a reason."

Klein finally got to meet Asuna properly when Kirito kept dropping and he caught up. His guild stayed at a distance as he joined the Shadow Gamers.

"You're taking better care of him than he is of himself."

"Shut up, Klein. I will wipe your team out." Asuna snorted.

"Kirito doesn't like getting touched."

"I stabbed my sister. I will stab others." Klein chuckled.

"He's violent."

"It is not my problem that someone thought this through. I don't like people. I will start killing."

If Kibaou had a tracker on him, he'd simply kill himself.

Sorry. Asuna said no.

Asuna and Klein were able to give the solo player some breathing room. Since he was getting overwhelmed by the other players, they came up with a play to start showing off and Asuna even made a guild to assist Klein's guild in gathering an army. It worked... until Kibaou barged in.

"Lookie here!" Kirito jerked up at just the sound of his voice. "Is the beater trying to sleep!?" He was frozen as Asuna called out.

"Leave him alone!"

"Listen here missy-" Klein got to Kirito's side as Asuna pulled her weapon.

"You are going to be lucky I leave you to fight the next boss. Disappear or become one with my blade!" Klein glanced at her as her sword neared the other man's face.

"You wouldn't dare."

"I've let you live this long. That should be a sign that you had heavenly help. No one lives this long around me."

"You talking bosses?"

"Cute." Kirito came to his senses at that point.

"I'm sorry!?!?" Asuna's rapier was back in her sheathe as she turned around.

"Excuse me. I meant NPCs. I normally don't let NPCs last this long."

Kirito's face said it all as fear was written all across it in several different languages. Something within that fear translated to 'That's not what you meant either, Asuna' with much emotion. Klein chuckled as Kirito tried to refind his voice.

"You sure?" She nodded slowly, avoiding eye contact as she looked for an escape. Seeing her guildmates call out, she took it and vanished over to them. Klein used the confusion to get Kirito away from the crowd.

"Did you solo the boss?"

"Did you want me to solo the boss?"

"Don't answer my question with another!"

"Sorry. I thought that answered your question."

Asuna was cackling as Klein blinked twice.

"Oh honestly!"
