Anjali pov:

It's my wedding day...
I'm here ready as bride...

"You look so beautiful Anjali" Karuna said with a smile and put black kohl at back of my ear..

"Karuna I'm missing ma... I wish she was here... She will be so happy na " I said to karuna

"Of course baby... She is seeing you from there.. And she will be happiest person seeing her daughter in bridal dress getting married.. " Karuna said
And I hugged her...

"Okay lets go and show to papa , bhai and bhabhi" I said with a smile..
Karuna nodded and we both went out from room to go down stairs...

Little did I know that I'm going to get a biggest shock of my life...

"Karuna, what is varun uncle and ayansh doing here? They should be in baraat na" I said to karuna

Who nodded with confused face..

We got down and they all looked at me with guilt in their eyes...

Papa was standing there shocked ...
Bhai was angry...
And varun uncle was joining hands in front of them..

I go towards them..

"What happen? " I asked them

"Anjali... Na-naman ran away from the wedding " Bhai said to me with tears in his eyes..

What? No they must be pranking na..
How can he leave me...?
How can he run away?
Was he not happy?
Why? Why he did that to me?
Today is my marriage and my groom ran away?
Is it a dream? Bad dream? 

I stood there being shocked and tears welled up in my eyes..
Looking at bhai with shocked face

"Papa" Bhai screamed and I get out of my shock to get into another shock

"Papa" I screamed and ran towards him

"Karuna see what happen to papa" I screamed to karuna who ran in front of papa who was lying on floor unconscious

"Papa please wake up na... " I said while sobbing

"Anjali leave him.. We need to  take him in room.. " Karuna shook my shoulders

I stood up from there and wiped my tears while.. Ayansh and bhai hold papa to take him to bed..

After 30 minutes:

"He is fine now... He got attack due to shock" Karuna said giving him an injection...

We all went towards him

He was staring ceiling

"Bhaisaab.. I know what my son did is not justified.. In fact we are shock too.. But we had a solution... As guests are arrived, everything is done... If... Anjali agrees, then anjali can marry ayansh.. " Varun uncle said

Is he serious? It's marriage not exchange offer...
How can he say like that

Papa looked at me and nodded

"Papa no... How can i? It's not a joke papa.. Papa " I said with shock with tears in my eyes

"Anjali beta i know what he did is not right.. And what we are saying is too... But if you both will not marry.. Then it can affect our and your dad 's reputation... People will talk behind us... Right.. Now people don't know who are you going to marry.. They only knew that you are going to marry son of mehras.. " Varun uncle said

"Beta... He is right...it's not easy to live in a society where everyone will talk behind your back...that her groom ran from the wedding...people will find fault in you..and they will get a topic to discuss and make fun of..." Papa pleaded me

I looked at bhai who was upset too.. But he didn't oppose..
He looked at me and nodded
Bhabhi was also standing with me.. And nodded

"Okay I'm ready" I said with no emotions on my face..

Shyam uncle and varun uncle thanked me and went from there...

I ran to my room and locked it from inside

I cried ...

Why he did that to me? I didn't deserve it? He was good in starting when we met... Was he forced? Was he hot happy? Did I had done something due to which he ran away? If he didn't wanted to marry , why he didn't tell me earlier? I hate betrayals... He betrayed me... Now i'm going to marry someone, who I don't know properly... He is my boss that's it.. I don't know anything about him...

"Anjali open door" Bhai and bhabhi yelled

I opened door and hugged bhai and cried in his arms..

Then bhabhi and karuna did my makeup which was smudged due to crying..
