First I love you headcannon- Gavi & Pedri

Gavi:

- You and Gavi were friends before you started dating 

- You just happened to be paired with one of his friends on a project for one of your classes and you go on so he introduced you to the rest of the friend group which included Gavi 

- Gavi noticed that whenever everyone got together you were left out slightly so he made a special effort to get to know you which is when he realised that you were a really nice person and he noticed how pretty you were for the first time 

- He developed feelings for you quite quickly but he wouldn't admit it as he'd not long met you and you were new to the friend group so he didn't want to ostracise you by making his friends just see you as the girl he liked 

- As time went on and you got more settled into the group it became clear to everyone else but the two of you that you both had feelings for each other and feelings that weren't going to go away overnight 

- The group tried to get you two to see that you had feelings for each other but that didn't work so instead they straight up told Gavi to ask you out and told him he wasn't allowed to hang out with the group until he did which motivated him to actually confess his feelings 

- When he finally confessed you told him that you feel the same way but you both decide to do things the right way you need to date casually for a while as you don't know what it will be like when you cross the line to being more than friends 

- You expected dating Gavi to be hard as his career is his top priority and you weren't sure how you'd deal with the fact that there are millions of people who follow him around the world but everything was surprisingly easy you kept your relationship a secret from the fans and Gavi always found time for you so things couldn't be better 

- After a little while of going on dates and spending pretty much all your free time with each other Gavi finally asks you to be his girlfriend which the rest of the group are over the moon with as they just know you two are perfect for each other 

- Gavi knew he loved you from quite early on as he realised that he'd never felt this strongly for anyone or anything in his life you were able to improve his mood just by being there and everything you do just melts his heart which is rather unlike him 

- Once he knew how he felt he knew he wanted to tell you but he wanted to make it special as he is your first boyfriend so he wants you to remember the moment fondly plus he's not always the best at voicing his feelings so he knew that this would be a big deal for the both of you 

- Because he wanted to make it special he took some time to plan everything so that it would be perfect which is not like him at all but he knew you would really appreciate it so he put a lot of time and effort into planning a special date for the two of you 

- He makes sure to pick a day that he doesn't have anything going on so that he can spend the entire day with you before taking you out on a date as the two of you don't always get to spend that much time together 

- The entire day he treats you like a princess making you lunch and getting you drink while you do some university work he also helps you study as that way he gets to have you all to himself sooner

- Once it gets to later in the day he tells you to go and get ready so you put on a nice outfit and do your hair and makeup which he compliments you endlessly on 

- First he takes you to dinner at your favourite restaurant which also happens to be the first place he ever took you out to on a date, you had dates at home before that this place was where you went when you had your first date out in the real world
