Two Months Later...

Han Seojun's POV:

With the song produced and written and me having to go on stage in a few minutes, I couldn't help thinking about what could possibly go wrong. What if she doesn't show up? What if she hates it?

Noticing how anxious I was one of my members came and patted me on the shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I know you'll do great out there. You've got this fighting!" He said, holding out his fist.

I laughed, I couldn't help but be reminded of the video Kang Soojin sent me before my debut performance.

"Thanks, I feel less nervous now," I replied, patting him on the back. He grinned, glad to have eased my nerves.

Just then, a man wearing a headset and holding a clipboard came over. "You two, it's time for you to step on stage with the others. You better hurry." He said.

We both nodded then we rushed on stage. A whole crowd was there waiting, holding up their lightsticks and cheering as they saw us.

The lights then dimmed and the music began. I started to sing, and in sync, I danced with my members. As I danced, I scanned my eyes through the audience for Kang Soojin.

Luckily she had arrived safely through the crowd and was now waving her lightstick along with Lim Jugeong, watching me and the members perform.

I couldn't help but smile when I saw the look of surprise on her face.

Kang Soojin's POV:

Knowing Lim Jugeong's taste, I would've thought that we would have gone to a rock concert. To my surprise, we went to a K-pop concert. Not just any K-pop concert, but Han Seojun's concert, the Starboys' concert.

As I waved my lightstick around in time with the music I couldn't help wondering whether this was planned. Was this why Lim Jugeong wouldn't tell me who was performing? What exactly did she and Han Seojun plan, that they had to make sure I was here?

After many performances of the Starboys' songs as a group and their solo songs, I expected the members to say goodbye to their fans and leave the stage together. But to my astonishment, they all left except one member.

Han Seojun. Smoke started appearing on the stage, the spotlight shone on him as the crowd roared with enthusiasm as he stood there holding the microphone in its stand beaming.

His eyes settled on mine and he began to speak. "This is an unreleased song that I wrote and co-produced with my friend Lee Suho. It's for a very special person who is in the crowd today and who I love immensely with my entire heart."

My cheeks began to flush red as the crowd began to start saying: "Aww!" I felt deja vu from audition day when he had said something similar.

Refusing to take his eyes on me, Han Seojun began to sing. He sang about two people who once hated each other but then learned they were more alike than they thought.

He continued singing about how one confessed during a downpour to the other and they both fell for each other even more. How they went from enemies to lovers to having a forbidden romance to breaking up. How when the boy's lover left he missed her terribly.

I smiled my eyes beginning to glisten with tears. He had just sung our story word for word. Suddenly, he stopped singing for a moment and began to speak yet again: "I'd like to invite the person to sing with me on stage. You know who you are."

Everyone started glancing my way, seeing Han Seojun's eyes glued to mine. I began flushing again this time in embarrassment. The staff looked at me in bewilderment. It was clear they weren't aware of this at all.

Jugeong grabbed my lightstick and squealed excitedly, jumping up and down. "Soojin! What are you waiting for?! Get up there!"

I laughed. "You knew about this didn't you?" I asked.

She winked. "Maybe...?" She teased before giving me a nudge.

"Now go!" She pleaded.

A bodyguard escorted me through the crowd onto the stage. The entire time, I walked with my head down my cheeks burning.

Seeing my flushed cheeks, Han Seojun chuckled. "It's great to see you again, Kang Soojin." He whispered.

I rolled my eyes playfully at him. "You planned this didn't you?" I whispered back.

He winked before beginning to sing again. I sang along with him, my heart content being on stage yet again this time with him. Our voices blended perfectly together, creating a beautiful harmony.

Lim Jugeong's POV:

I watched in awe as they sang beautifully together as I waved my lightstick along with the audience.

Suddenly, I felt an arm slide around my shoulders. I looked up to see Suho, with a moonstruck look on his face. Seeing me glance up, he grinned.

"Suho! You made it!" I exclaimed delighted.

He beamed and kissed my forehead. "Of course, I wouldn't miss this for the world." He replied.

With one arm around my shoulders and lightstick in his other, we waved our lightsticks together transfixed with Han Seojun and Kang Soojin's performance.

Kang Soojin's POV:

Once we had finished, he stepped forward towards me, making the crowd scream. "Kang Soojin, will you take me back as your boyfriend?" He asked.

I laughed and pulled him in for a kiss. A few months ago, I would've had second thoughts before making such a bold move. Especially in front of such a huge audience who adored him and wanted him for themselves.

But whether they started crying in outrage or joy, I didn't care. I loved Han Seojun too much to care anymore.

We pulled away from each other breathless. Once I had caught my breath, I smiled. "How's that for an answer?" I remarked.

He chuckled once again before kissing me on the cheek. "I love you, Kang Soojin." He murmured into my ear.

"I love you too, Han Seojun." I replied, with a grin.

Ever since that day, the dating ban has been broken. Idols dating became normalized, so I and Han Seojun continued to see each other. The agency had finally given up. Why do you ask?

Because as cheesy as it is to say this: "There's no stopping true love."

Author's Note:

And that is it! Thank you to everyone who took the time to support my fan-made True Beauty spin-off: Enemies Alike!

I never thought this series would get this many reads or votes and I'd like to thank you guys so much again for choosing this fan-fic out of the many out there. Writing this story was something I enjoyed immensely and I hope to write another True Beauty fan-fic again.

But for now, I'll be taking a break from writing fan fics as I want to try writing a story from scratch. It'll be an LGBTQ+ romance novel, so for those of you who like those kinds of stories, stay tuned!

But don't worry! More fanfics will be coming soon.
