Venice's POV

when i woke up. its 7am already. suot ko pa rin yung suot ko kagabi. i'm so drained at wala na rin akong lakas magpalit kagabi.

sa guest room ako natulog.

bumangon ako saka lumabas ng kwarto. nagpunta ko sa masters bedroom para kunin yung suitcase ko.

pagpasok ko tulog pa si Lance. with the same outfit. di rin nakapag palit.

binuksan ko yung suitcase ko saka kumuha ng two piece. nagpalit ako ng two piece saka nagpatong ng polo. bumaba na ko saka dumiretso sa olympic size pool.

tinapon ko lang kung saan yung polo saka nagdive sa tubig.

i stayed there for a while then i started swimming back and forth.

di ko alam kung pano ko haharapin si Lance.

i really dont know.

one year isnt that long.

after one year i'll be free as a bird then i'll be happy.

i'll be happy nga ba?

maybe i'll be fine.

napatingin ako sa isang corner ng swimming pool.

yun yung mababaw na part na pwede kang umupo

i smiled bitterly.

we used to spend the whole morning playing and cuddling there. he also thought me how to swim.

we were happy.

pumikit nalang ako at nagumpisang lumangoy ng pabalik balik.

and this time. nilalabas ko yung galit ko.

coz it would have been a perfect marriage.

i love him. he loves me. we were happy. but in the end..

umangat ako sa tubig at huminga.

i started swimming back and forth again. hanggang hindi ako pagod. hindi ako titigil.

i did my best. i know i did my best.

but i think what i gave wasnt enough for him.

pumikit ako saka nagfloat sa tubig.

"i've been a great wife Lance." i said softly and bittterly.

and before i knew it.

tumulo yung luha ko. i immediately brushed it off.

i cannot be weak from now on.

i can never be weak from now on.

Lance's POV

paglabas ni Venice sa kwarto dumilat ako.

kanina pa ko gising nagtulugtulugan lang ako pagpasok nya.

paglabas nya saka lang ako tumayo. lumapit ako sa bintana. and there. i saw her.

pabalik balik sya lumangoy. then she suddenly stopped. at tumingin sa mababang part ng pool.

i saw how she smiled bitterly.

then she started swimming back and forth like there's no tomorrow. parang galit na galit.

tas nagfloat sya bigla. she closed her eyes.

her lips moved like she whispered something.

and a tear fell from her left eye.
