The guards were nowhere to be found, so I peeked through the glass on the front door.

"I'm so glad you're safe Ais-tan!!!!!!!!!" Loki screamed while holding her tight.

"I-I told you I would be alright," Ais said while hiding her blush

Everyone else was crying and saying words of gratitude about how glad they were safe and whatnot.

"What's this supposed to tell me?" I asked as I turned around to Hermes, "This is basically what my reunion with Hestia was like along with my familia."

"Keep looking, ya idiot."

I let out a sigh and looked again.

Loki had finally been peeled off by Ais, and they were calmly talking about something. I couldn't read their lips now though so I didn't know what.

Yet, I could tell the atmosphere had changed to a more mellow one. It wasn't Loki and the people who stayed back who had changed, but the others who had gone on the mission.

After Ais said something to her, Loki put her hands on her hips, and I was able to read the words spoken, "Really, why do you care about that boy so much? Don't worry about what he feels right now, just be happy you're safe."

"Do you see it?" Hermes asked, "Your selfishness is ruining others' happiness."

I took my head away from the window, "Yea...I can tell. But why?"

"Do you seriously need me to tell you? I thought you were this all-powerful genius just a few years ago."

"..."

"As a matter of fact, I bet you do know, but you just don't want to admit it. In that case, I'll spell it out for you."

"..."

"Bell, your life holds weight to others. You have worth in others' hearts. When you're sad, they feel sad, when you're happy, they're happy. Respect yourself more. I know guilt is likely eating away at you even if you can't tell, but you need to accept what you did in the past. Move past the guilt that forbids you from feeling like you hold worth in others' lives."

"..."

'Huh?...What's this?'

"You know that in the end, Ais and a whole bunch of people would die for you. Hell, even I would, not that I would let it happen in the first place, but still! Listen to what you really want, and say it."

"..."

"Say it!"

"I...want to be happy...With others."

"That's it!"

Just then, I felt arms wrap around me and hold me close.

"Now you can let the tears flow for a while. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul."

I cried so much that night, that I was afraid I would never cry again in my life.

Before I knew it, I was back at the mansion in my bed. I must have passed out after crying. How embarrassing.

From there on, statues were made of everyone who participated in the battle. I had honestly thought about going to destroy mine, and mine alone, but I decided to let it stand. After all, someone had put hard work into making it, and I wanted it there not to tell others that I participated, but to tell myself that someone cared enough about me to build a statue in my name.

I also had been let free of my slave contract and cell, so now I was a free person once again to do what I liked. Of course though, to actually get my life back on track would take a long, long time.
