Lando's POV

Austria was one of my favorite tracks, I always did well here and it would be even better with Aimée. She landed a few hours ago and was going drop her stuff in my room and freshen up before coming out to the paddock. I was so excited to see her again.

"I think it's time for you to announce your relationship." Zak said as he sat down next to me and put his phone in front of me. There were several pictures of Aimée and me swimming and sitting together on the yacht we rented. I should have known people would take pictures of us. "She's not ready for that and I'm not going to push her" I said as I pushed his phone back to him."And why is she not ready?" Zak asked. Honestly, I didn't know why she didn't want people to know, probably because she was afraid people would hate her, that's exactly what happened in my last relationship."Does it matter? She's not ready and I respect that" Zak didn't expect my answer, but I could see he respected it too.

He left shortly after our conversation. I grabbed my phone and looked at the pictures. I knew I would get some questions about them and I would like to be honest with them and show her off.
I wanted nothing more than walk with her through the paddock and show everyone how much I love her.
"Hi, baby" her soft voice snapped me out of my thoughts as she wrapped her arms around me from behind. "Damn, finally" I pushed my chair back and pulled her onto my lap.
"How was your flight? How are you feeling?" I asked as I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She was so beautiful, I don't know how I got so lucky.
"Good and good. Do you have any more interviews to do?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around my neck. "No, I made sure I was free so we could enjoy our time together" I finished my interviews a while ago and was actually ready to go back to my hotel, but Aimée really wanted to come to the paddock, so I waited for her.

She smiled and brushed her lips against mine. "I think I'm ready" she murmured against my lips."Ready for what?" I pulled away a little to see the look in her eyes. "To tell the world. They kind of already know because someone took pictures of us, but I think it's time for us to announce it too."

I definitely didn't expect that to say the least.
"If you want to, of course" she added, probably because I didn't answer right away. "Of course I want to. But are you sure?" I didn't want her to do it because she thought I wanted to. I didn't want to push her, I didn't want to lose her.
"I am" she nodded with that beautiful smile on her face. "Fuck" I said as I grabbed her face and kissed her, deeply, passionately.
I was so in love with her.

We didn't stay too long in the paddock, we wanted to spend some time together, so we went back to my hotel room. "So the first challenge is about to start" I said as I looked out of the car window. Aimée frowned a little before she looked outside as well.

"Oh shit" she said as she saw the fans standing outside of the hotel. "Are you ready or do you want to wait?" I doublechecked if she was sure about this. There was no way back if we got out of this car together.
"I am ready" she nodded. We kissed one more time before getting out of the car.

I wanted to walk straight in the hotel because I wanted to make sure Aimée was feeling comfortable but she pulled me back. "They waited for hours" she said softly as she looked at the fans.
"You don't mind?" I said as my hand brushed against her arm. She shook her head.

No one really asked who Aimée was, I was sure they didn't dare to ask, but I also noticed a lot of people pointing their phones in her direction.
I was sure she would be all over Instagram, but for once I didn't care because my post to announce our relationship was already waiting in my drafts.

"Bye guys, thanks for coming" I said as I waved at them and held out my hand to Aimée. She quickly grabbed my hand as we walked into the hotel together.
I guess this was going to be all over Instagram, too.
