After we watched the qualifying, Kara and I decided to go out, just like the old times. We spend an hour to pick out a dress, do our makeup, hair and get a little pre-drink.

We used to go out a lot, but this time was different because as soon as we walked to the club a lot of eyes were on us. Or on Kara for that matter.
It scared me, because that was exactly what would happen if Lando and I made our relationship public. I wasn't looking forward to that at all, so I would postpone it for as long as I could.
"Aren't you Charles Leclerc' girlfriend?" The bouncer of the club pointed at Kara.
"Well.." she started but he interrupted her quickly. "You girls can get in" he smiled.
We looked at each other for a quick second but we didn't complain or hesitate.
It was one of the fanciest clubs in Monaco, you had to be famous or pay big money to get in here, so we always walked passed it.
But not this time.
This time, we were walking right inside.

"What just happened?" I looked at Kara who was already smiling and shook her head.
"I really don't know, but I'm not complaining" she laughed.
I wasn't either.
"Drinks are on me" I said enthusiastically as I walked to the bar.
Kara didn't come with me, she wanted to dance, she always wanted to dance.
"Two vodka's straight" I leaned against the bar putting my two fingers up.
"I see you didn't grow out of your vodka's yet" A familiar voice said from behind me.
I quickly turned around only to see my ex standing in front of me.
"Liam" I mumbled as I turned back to the bar.
What was this bartender doing? Could he be any slower? I wanted to get out of here as fast as I could.
"How did you get in here? You're not famous nor rich" he said as he stood next to me, also leaning against the bar, he was looking around, probably looking to see who I came with.
I didn't answer his question, I just stared ahead, hoping this bartender would finally hurry up.

"I was re-reading our conversations, remember how you got into college?" Why did I ever tell him? Because I trusted him at the time, but I was stupid, so stupid.
"Oh and remember the plagiarism you did?" He continued. Yes I remember all that.
I was biting the inside of my cheek as the bartender finally brought my drinks.
I quickly grabbed them and wanted to return to Kara, but he grabbed my arm to stop me. "Would be a shame if they found out, right before you graduate" he smirked a little.
"What do you want Liam?" I sighed. I was afraid of his answer, but I had to ask.
I was so close to my degree, I was afraid he might wanted to fuck it up for me.
"I want you" his hand stayed on my arm, only now he loosened his grip a little.
I couldn't help but chuckle. "I am serious" he looked at me, he was serious, but I would never ever get back with him.
"I can make a big promotion, but they think I'm not serious or mature enough" he explained as he let go of my arm.
"I don't know what I got to do with that?" I rolled my eyes. For all I cared they were right, he was immature. "If they see I'm dating someone like you, they might change their opinion" I just laughed at his idiot idea. "I won't be dating you" once again I wanted to get out of this situation but once again he grabbed my arm. Harder this time.
"Fake dating then. They just have to think we are dating" I shook my head. I was dating Lando, I wasn't interested in fake dating my ex to say the least.
He leaned closer to me and whispered in my ear.
"Or do you want your college to find out everything?" Fuck he was such an asshole.

I didn't want to look or talk to him anymore. I just walked passed him to Kara who was too busy dancing to notice what has been going on.
I handed her the drink and took a sip from mine.

I was in trouble, deep trouble.

I would graduate in only a couple of months but I worked 3 years for this.
I didn't know what to do, but I didn't want to throw this away. I didn't want to work in that store for my entire life.
