Aimée POV

"Turn around" Josh said. I was FaceTiming him and was showing him my dresses.
I turned around to show him my dress. It was already the third dress I packed and honestly also my last one.
"Yes I think this is the one" he said. I sighed relieved. "Finally, it was also my last dress" I chuckled.
"I know, it's still not the perfect dress but it will do" he laughed. "And put your hair up please" he continued.
I frowned a little. "Why? I like my hair down" I fidgeted with my hair and looked in the mirror.
"Guys wanna see some neck from time to time" he said in such a serious tone it actually made me laugh.
"How do you know?" I laughed which probably offended him a little because he raised his eyebrows.
"Because I am a guy and honestly Lando's neck was the first thing that I noticed" he chuckled.
Maybe he was right, maybe I should put my hair up.
"Even before you noticed his pretty face?"  I grabbed my phone and looked at him.
I had a hard time believing that.
"Okay maybe I noticed that first" he laughed.
"But aaanyways, you look beautiful. Have fun and get him tiger" he waved quickly at the camera.
I chuckled as I put my phone away. I could feel the nerves building up.

A little while later someone knocked on door. I was so excited to see him.
I grabbed my purse and quickly opened the door.

He was dressed in a black button-down, the sleeves of his shirt rolled to his elbows and his hands in the pockets of his pants as he was leaning against the doorframe.
"My love" he smirked. "You're looking beautiful" he said as he looked at me from head to toe.
My heart fluttered a little. God, he was so handsome.

He took me to a beautiful little restaurant, not many people were here, I guess he made sure we had some privacy.
He was putting so much effort in this and it made my heart beat even faster.

He looked at me with a little smile on his face. "You like it?" He licked the corners of his lips quickly. "I love it, how do you know this place?" I asked as I was looking around.
It was a small restaurant, but it was so cosy and romantic. "Oh you know, I take all my dates here" He shrugged his shoulders laughing. "No but seriously, I asked Carlos for a nice place" he said it as if it wasn't a big deal, but I could see he was a little proud.
He was doing so much for me, he was proving that he really liked me and was serious about this.
I needed to do that too, he needed some reassurance as well, especially after everything that happened.

"Listen, I really like you. I know sometimes I'm a little bit of a disappointment. I rarely think before I act.
Still, I want you to know that in a lifetime of rushed decisions, wrong turns and big messes, you're the first thing that's felt right" I said as I put my hand on his.
He didn't know what to say, he probably didn't expect this but I had to show him how I really felt.
"Most of the times, I just run when it gets too good" I looked down at our hands, he was rubbing his thumb against the palm of my hand.
"Don't worry, I run way faster than you. I will catch you and pull you back to me" he said with a smile on his face.
I wasn't planning on running away from him. I knew what I had and I would never wanna let go of that.
"You're an idiot" I laughed. "And that's exactly why you like me, right?" He laughed, looking at me with that cute smile.
How can someone not like him?

After the most magical dinner, we walked back to his hotel. He asked me to stay with him today and how could I say no to that?
"This is your hotel room? It's bigger than my apartment" I said as I walked in his suite.
"One of the perks of dating me" he chuckled as he put his arms around my waist from behind.
"What's another perk?" I jokingly said as I turned my face to him.
"Uh great kisses and amazing sex?" He said as he turned me around so I was facing him.
"I'd like that" I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed my body against his. He bit his lower lips just a little before kissing my neck.
I titled my head a little to give him more space to kiss my neck.
"Fuck you're so beautiful" he mumbled against my neck as his hands traveled over my body to my ass.

I guess Josh was right after all.
