It was another boring day in the store. I was so done with this job but on the other hand, I needed this job. Monaco was expensive, damn expensive but fucking beautiful as well.

I sighed as the alarm of the store went off. Every day someone tried to steal something. Most of the times it was an expensive bottle of wine or champagne. "Hey, you have to pay for that" I said as I ran after him.
He quickly stopped walking and looked behind him. Right into my eyes. I had to admit that he had beautiful blue or green eyes, I couldn't really tell. I didn't really care either.

I looked at the things in his hand. He was only holding two boxes of sausages. No alcohol, no expensive things like they usually tried to steal. Just.. sausages.
"Were you seriously planning on stealing sausages?" I looked at him as I raised my eyebrow. Fair enough, Monaco was expensive but c'mon you didn't have to steal sausages. "I just forgot to pay. I'm so sorry" he said as he shook his head. "I'll obviously pay for them" he followed me back into the store. "Yeah.. that's kinda the way a store works" I heard the excuses so many times before, I was immune to them by now."I know how a store works" He grumbled as he grabbed his wallet. Now he was giving me an attitude? "Clearly not" I mumbled under my breath as I scanned his damn boxes of sausages. He was already paying, even before I could tell him the amount.
He looked at me with a smirk on his face. He was continuously chewing on some gum as he was looking at my nametag. "I'll see you around Amy" he smiled as he grabbed his stuff and walked away. "My name is Aimée" I shouted, but I didn't even know why I cared.

I sighed as I looked at the next customer before I noticed he forgot his credit card. "Hey, you forgot your.." I looked at the exit as I grabbed his card. "credit card" I said softly as I noticed he was already gone.
"I guess his sausages were more important than his credit card" the next guy in the line laughed as if it was the funniest joke ever.
I laughed at his dumb joke. I had to use my fake laugh at this job so much, I didn't even recognize what my real laugh sounded like.

"How was your day?" Kara asked as soon as I walked back in our apartment. I dropped my keys and sighed as loud as I could.
I didn't need to respond with words to answer her question.
"Some dude tried to steal sausages" I said as I walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. "So pretty normal" I laughed.

Kara was my roommate for a year now, she was my best friend and I loved living with her. We had pretty fucked schedules as she worked in a restaurant and I in a store that was open pretty much all ours of the day and night.

"Rent is due tomorrow, do you have the money?" she asked as I sat down next to her on the couch. "I do, but we will have to eat bread and rice for a couple of days" I chuckled. It wasn't funny how low on money we were but we had to make the most of it.
"I'll try to steal some food from the restaurant" fortunately her boss didn't really care if she took the leftovers home.

"Since when do you have a platinum credit card?" she pointed at the credit card that was sticking out of the pocket of my jeans. "Oh, this isn't mine. It's from the guy that tried to steal sausages" I grabbed the card out of my pocket and put it on the little table in front of us.
"Someone with a platinum card tried to steal sausages?" she frowned as she grabbed the card from the table and looked at it. "Doesn't really make sense" she grabbed her phone out and started typing something.
"What are you doing?" I looked at her. "Instagramming the sausage stealing guy" she mumbled, until her eyes widened a little.
"Is this the guy?" she shoved her phone in my face. I nodded, I recognized his eyes. He was pretty cute. He had curly brown hair which were covered by a backwards cap today.
"You forgot to mention that he's fucking hot" she scrolled through his pictures some more. "He's a F1 driver, he's rich rich" she said as she looked at me and back at the credit card, which she tapped with her finger a couple of times.
