"Gusto mo pumunta sa resort ng Lolo at Lola?" tanong ko sa kanya habang nakaupo sa duyan.

"Pwede naman," sagot nito sa akin. "Pero ano gagawin natin doon?"

"Hmm," napaisip ako saglit. Wala naman kaming gagawin kung pupunta kami room. "Sa bagay, aalis naman tayo bukas. Sa susunod na lang tayo pumunta roon. Baka may mga tao rin doon."

Tumango ito at hindi umimik.

"May kukunin lang ako sa loob. Wait for me here," tumayo ako sa kinauupuan ko at tumango si Zairen.

Naglakad ako papasok ng bahay at pumunta sa music room nina Lolo at Lola. Always, my favorite spot in this house.

This room is filled with almost every instrument you can play and have. May violin, piano, guitar, drums, at kung ano ano pa. The walls are painted with beige and even has paintings and different speakers surrounding it.

Mahilig kasi si Lolo at Lola sa musika. Kaya naman, nang maitayo ang bahay na ito ay naglaan sila ng isang kwarto na punong-puno ng mga instrumento.

Ngunit, dahil sa tanda na rin nila ay ang tanging natutogyog na lang ni Lolo at Lola ay ang puting grand piano na nasa gitna ng kwarto.

Kinuha ko ang gitara na nakasabit sa guitar hanger at lumabas patungo kay Zairen.

"Is that your Lolo Javier's guitar?" he asked and his eyes lit up.

I nodded happily and sat beside him. "Yeah. Ito yung gitara na ginamit niya noong nililigawan niya si Lola."

"He must have cherished it," he smiled.

Yes, he did.

Noong hinaharana ni Lolo si Lola, ay tiyak na ayaw talaga ito ni Lola. Dahil daw masyadong palabiro si Lolo at seryoso talaga si Lola. Ayaw na ayaw ni Lola ang palabiro.

Well, look at them now. Living their lives together filled with love and happiness.

"Can you sing for me?" he asked. "Ang tagal na rin simula noong narinig kitang kumanta."

I pouted and faced him. "Akala ko ba ikaw ang kakanta para sa akin."

"Gusto mo bang marinig ang boses kong pumiyok? You'll just laugh at me for sure."

I laughed. "Fine. Anong kanta ba gusto mo?"

Napaisip ito at napatingin sa harapan namin. "'Yong lagi mong kinakanta tuwing pumapasyal ako sa inyo."

He then faced me and I gave him a confused look.

"Yung 'this is how you fall in love'?"

He nodded. "Yeah, that one."

I breathed in and out. "Okay,"

I positioned the guitar and looked down, and strummed it gracefully. Gosh, how I missed playing.

"Sun in my eyes, navy-blue skies. You are the reason I can survive." I sang. "We'll turn off the phones to just be alone.
We'll draw the curtains and never leave home."

I could feel Zairen's deep stare at me and quicly glanced at him and saw a small smile plastered on his lips.

"I had a nightmare... But now that I'm not scared," I paused then continued and started singing the chorus. "This is how you fall in love, let go and I'll hold you up.. So pull me tight and close your eyes... Oh, my love, side to side."

He started humming and feeling the music as I sang.

""What's easy is right", my mother's advice... You are the reason I never think twice... Wherever we go, what glitters is gold... You'll be my best friend until we grow old."
