Noel woke up with a soft groan. Her abdomen hurt significantly. She didn't remember anything, all she could remember was Bellatrix killing her and the bright white light that engulfed her vision.

"Ouch," She mumbled.

Theo yelped, looking over at her. She groaned softly again, coughing. "Fucking hell." She said, failing to sit up.

"Noel?" Theo whispered, helping her up. He held her face in his hands unable to comprehend what the fuck was happening.

"Oh, Teddy. I have a horrible headache." She whispered, opening her eyes finally. At the sight of her eyes Theo choked down a sob.

"Teddy..."

"I thought you were dead! Everyone thought you were dead, Harry-Harry he was- he was crying."

Noel winced as she shifted to hug him. "Teddy, I did die. I did die, okay and they gave me a choice. I chose to stay, to stay here with you. I-I don't remember, okay, I don't but I remember choosing to stay."

"You both left me, what was I going to do alone?"

"You're not alone, yeah. I'm right here." Noel reassured him. "I miss him so much Teddy," she whispered.

"Me too, but his face he looks—"

"Peaceful." Noel finished for him.

"Yeah."

Noel looked around the Great Hall, looking at everyone who was still there. Bodies lined the hall, family and friends surrounded them. She saw the Weasley family around Fred's body. Madam Pomfrey and a few other teachers helping and attending students and other witches and wizards.

Once again Voldemort's voice resonated throughout the castle booming Noel's eardrums.

"Harry Potter is dead. He was killed as he ran away, trying to save himself while you lay down your lives for him. We bring you his body as proof that your hero is gone.

The battle is won. You have lost half of your fighters. My Death Eaters outnumber you, and the Boy Who Lived is finished. There must be no more war. Anyone who continues to resist, man, woman, or child, will be slaughtered, as will every member of their family. Come out of the castle now, kneel before me, and you shall be spared. Your parents and children, your brothers and sisters will live and be forgiven, and you will join me in the new world we shall build together."

There was silence in the grounds and from the castle.

Everyone who was in the castle, quickly made their way out towards the entrance where they could see a great line of Death Eaters behind Voldemort. They could clearly see Harry being held by Hagrid.

Noel, weak and fragile, stayed behind the crowd with Theo who was supporting her.

"NO!"

Professor McGonagall's scream wasn't something that Noel had ever expected to hear from her. It was full of anguish and shock.
