Remember everything that I written about this story or my way of writing it simply comes from my imagination and creativity! It will not necessarily comply with the actual COD storyline.

Btw, an important fact! For those of you who are new to my stories, know that English is not my first language! Spanish is! I'm from Puerto Rico!

If you see any mistakes, don't be mean and just help me! Remember to be humble and kind always!

Thanks!🩷

I literally ran to the shooting range where Ghost was waiting for me. I was mega worried about not getting scolded or punished by Ghost. I just want to do everything right and meet the expectations of the unit.

I opened the door and quickly my eyes scanned the place in seconds trying to find Ghost.

He was sitting right in front of where we were going to practice while cleaning a weapon.

"Forty minutes" he said.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You took 40 minutes."

I stared at him-"don't tell me you used a watch-"

"No, I counted them in my head." Ghost interrupted me by standing up from his chair and placing the gun on the table.

I just stood quietly looking at him.

"I'll let it go because it really wasn't your fault, but don't expect it to happen a second time either. I'll see you here tomorrow, 0800" Ghost said goodbye and walked out of the shooting range.

"Great" I said as I walked out as well to take a bath.

Next day:

Quickly I got up, I took a shower and got ready as fast as I could. I didn't want to let Ghost down again, it wasn't something I was used to doing either...I mean the irresponsible part, I've never had the luxury of being irresponsible.

When I got to the shooting range, no one was there so I sat down in a chair and started waiting for Ghost. I kept looking at the clock...it was really early, it was only 6am.

An hour passed and then the door opened and Ghost walked in.

"Good morning, Ghost." I said standing up from my chair.

"Since what time are you here?" Ghost asked me with his arms crossed.

"Since 6 o'clock."

"Come on." Ghost said to me turning around to go back outside.

"Excuse me?" I asked confused as I walked behind him.

"You must eat breakfast you mustn't skip meal times either, I'm very strict about that. Everything takes a specific time." Ghost said to me as I walked beside him.

"Okay, it won't happen again" I said.

As we entered the dining hall we were among the first to line up and have our breakfast trays.

We sat at a table facing each other as we ate our breakfast in silence.

Ghost had his mask up to his nose as he ate in total silence. The only thing that could be heard were the other people around us.

I was trying to eat but I really didn't know how....

"Aren't you used to eating breakfast?" Ghost broke the silence.
