Views are the reason why Tags are so useless.
Most authors are too obsessed with having many views as possible as if that will change something in their lives.
So what do they do? they put tags that have nothing to do with the story in their book, a classic bait.
One of the reasons why male readers stories end up with a reader already having a last name and pre-defined appearance. The author actually wanted to make an OC story but as you may know, Reader stories attract more people so they "Adjust" their OC to fit with the reader tag(Just by changing the OC's first name to (Y/n)) as if it was a good justification.
So long as people care so much about views, The readers stories that we know and used to love will continue to be trash.
And that is just the reader tag, there are many others who are exploited as well.
