Arc 2: Night Raven College

Chapter 11: Disney

All Night Raven College students began to return in the last week of August. From sophomores (2nd year) to juniors (3rd year), it was stated that senior students (4th year) at Night Raven College would not be in the institution proper, but would be undergoing training outside of the academy for their chosen professions.

The students from the seven dormitories have returned to Night Raven College early to prepare for the impending welcoming ceremony for Night Raven College's new first-year students.

Following the greeting ceremony, during which the first-year students were sorted by the dark mirror in the dorms, each of the house wardens would welcome the freshmen and host a welcoming party for them.

So all of the students would be preoccupied with the approaching preparations; aside from that, the headmage and professors had alerted their house wardens of an important announcement that would be made during this year's admission ceremony.

Why, oh why, has the announcement now filled the majority of the pupils with dread?

------------------------------

Andersen understood that after demonstrating his teaching style and approach to the literature subject to the academics and headmaster, he had stunned most of them with the exhibition of his magic and noble phantasm.

Andersen found himself wanting to laugh and mock himself at times. It was funny that in this reality, he felt inexplicably more strong than usual. He was one of Chaldea's most inept servants. A third-rate servant caster. In comparison to the magus of flowers Merlin, the fox Tamamo no Mae, the strategist Zhuge Liang, and the likes of Skadi, Castoria, the assassin Tamamo Vitch, and Pretender Oberon (Vortigen), he was lacking.

As Ritsuka assured him, being an S rank didn't change the fact that Andersen was a 2-star, as Gudako has mentioned with her SSR or 5-star servant's addiction.

He was a 3rd-rated 2-star servant who had lost his status and usefulness in Chaldea, no matter how much honor was placed on him.

Most of the casters pale in comparison to Merlin. Andersen was a third-rate servant about the Grand Caster servant. That is why he declared himself to be a third-rate student. He was a third-rate servant even among the other servant-class groups.

He was garbage.

This isn't self-pity, but rather the product of his observation. With no emotional input inserted into it.

The comments of the academicians and the head wizard were interesting after he exhibited his magecraft and noble phantasm. Surprising, shocking, and intriguing. But there was also anxiety and terror.

Andersen initially assumed that they would be afraid of his mysterious 'magic' and its potential. What would Hans Christian Andersen do to them? However, he gradually realized that the terror was mostly intended for him and that it was secondary to them.

Following his performance, the professor asked him if it was his "unique magic," and some of them began inspecting the gem linked to his black feather quill pen, looking for evidence of blackening or ink taint.

Because the headmaster, Dire Crowley, notified him of the overblot after seeing Arktis' body, Andersen also learned of the blot through the headmaster. Crowley considered it crucial to understand before studying the overblot.

Blot. A surplus or waste of mages in this twisted wonderland as a result of their use of magic. It was similar to automotive fuel, resulting in pollution.

Andersen understands why the professors are staring at what they believe to be his mage stone. He would be moved by their concern if he were a normal person. Andersen could only see their concern as an irritation because he was an S-grade jerk and scum.

With his casual usage of mana, he wouldn't be corrupted by blot or experience mana exhaustion. The one thing that Andersen could compete with compared to the other servants was his excellent mana reserves. He was one of the servants that ranked EX in mana. In regards to the concerns of the headmaster of him becoming a victim of overblot, he wasn't the type to get consumed by his negative emotions.

Maybe when he was still a human, or maybe this version of him was just a very new heroic spirit, but he was the version of Andersen who had seen many holy grail wars, and nothing could shake him anymore.

Except for his two masters' antics and issues, and the brand of madness in Chaldea, those two things would always manage to cause Andersen to experience diverse conflicts and emotions.

That's why he was relieved when the accident occurred and he was transferred here. This new world is a welcome change for him. The longer Andersen spends here, the less likely it is that this is a singularity or a lost belt. He was beginning to suspect that it was something else entirely. He was taken into another universe associated with fairy tales and Disney.

He couldn't, however, completely dismiss the notion that this world is a singularity or a lost belt. And perhaps some servant was working behind the scenes in this universe. Because this is linked to Disney, the possible mastermind behind this possible lost belt or singularity could only be Disney.

Andersen never met Aesop or the Grimm Brothers in all of the times he was sent to many holy grail fights. Someone who holds the title of the three greatest fairytale authors beside him In terms of the title, Andersen couldn't agree with the other two being ranked alongside him as the best.

Especially the Grimm Brothers, who are collectors rather than authors. Why would they be categorized beside him? Even though he was a third-rate casting servant, Andersen takes pride in his writing.

( But as he sometimes think of the Grimm Brothers, he remember a sense of familiarity towards them. He feels shame when thinking about Jacob Grimm while Wilhelm gives him a feeling of warmth and friendliness.)

This has tormented him since he was summoned as a heroic spirit and informed of the situation. If there was truly someone equally qualified as him in his standing as a fairy tale author, it would be the author of Sleeping Beauty. Charles Perault, who, like him, wrote fairy stories.

To return to the subject of not meeting Walt Disney, Andersen feels that he may exist as a throne of heroes and a heroic spirit. How could Disney not be a heroic spirit when his or her name is so well known throughout the world?

As for why Andersen was unsure about their gender while being identified as male by the people, there was a chance of the throne of heroes and Alaya mucking up the servants.

During his time in Chaldea, Hans discovered that history is not reliable. The majority of the male historical figures who were called in Chaldea were transformed into ladies.

Even though there was evidence that Walt Disney was a guy, he might transform into a woman. When considering Disney for individuals and children, there are two paths that Disney might take:

Mickey Mouse is Walt Disney's mascot. In terms of the latter, the first thing that springs to mind when thinking of Disney is fairy tales. And one item became a brand and became synonymous with Disney's name in the fairy tales that Disney has animated. Princesses from Disney

The form of servants was sometimes, or in most cases, influenced by humanity's perspective and belief about them. And when it comes to Disney, there are two options. Disney transforming into Mickey Mouse or Disney transforming into a Disney princess

Andersen was relieved that, despite his childlike appearance, he was still a man.

When the opportunity to see Walt Disney arises in the future, Andersen hopes to see him. Is it becoming a Disney Princess or Mickey Mouse? Andersen would have a nice laugh no matter what happened between the two.

Mickey Mouse for its goofy voice, and Disney Princess for being Walt Disney's just desserts for the embellishments and poor adaptations he produced from the original fairytales. Andersen would be there laughing and mocking him along with other fairy tale authors.
