It was scary seeing armin who was once a cute and nicest boy you've met turn into an obsessive person over you over time.
He declared it clearly how he loves you and wished to have you to himself, how he'll go to any limits to have you beside him even if it includes violence and murder.
Feeling responsible for someone else's pain and suffering y/n couldn't help but be careful so she wouldn't make armin angry, she loved him but his switch from nice to scary was startling and haunting.
It wasn't soon that she grew uncomfortable with the feelings he made her feel, fear, danger and scared whenever she tried to do anything.
Fear of getting someone else hurt because of her, danger to her; what if he turns his anger towards her and scared by the entire situation.
Her love wasn't fading but a fear and armin's behavior scarred her mind as each day passed, she only grew more and more scared and distant from the once nicest person she met.
Armin noticed his behavior when he saw y/n flinch during an argument, he would never hit her, he'd rather end himself then ever do that but that instance made armin realise.
Since the next day be began acting nicer to her, he knew it was wrong to scare her, she wasn't the one attempting anything, he'll scare others who attempted things at her.
As armin's behavior changed and he sort of again became the nice caring boy he was when younger with y/n only, she found herself still determined in the relationship.
Armin knew he had to since then make sure to not ruin his relationship, he can hurt anyone else but never his love and he's to make sure she is always beside him.
He kept the scary side for others, he did put rules out for her but they were very usual ones like not going out after 9 pm alone and always telling him whenever she has to go somewhere, keeping a knife or pepper spray always with her.
Armin knew he cannot be always beside her during the day so he made sure she had ways to defend if it came to that, he'll though make sure to kill anyone who tries anything on her.
