We took some really good snaps but I still couldn't shake my mind off of Josh and I think my friends noticed. I tried keeping my mind busy, talking to people and all, but a new outfit and some pics isn't enough to take my mind off of this, I guess. "Allie! Come here!" We all decided on jumping into the pool with our clothes on, something that's actually a tradition at our house in the Hamptons. There's something really freeing about "breaking the rules" and jumping in with all of your clothes. "The foam is so cool!" Music was playing, people were swaying. It was like something out of a teen movie. For a while I just stared up at the night sky and tried my best to take in the moment. There were pictures, big splashes, and funny faces. There was even a Tik-Tok or two. "We should do that mermaid tiktok thing." "Ahh I'm scared! How are we gonna do that without water boarding our phones." I said. "Okay maybe you got a point." It was at this point that I was starting to feel calm. The after party was great, I wasn't thinking too much...until- "Hey." I looked around. Joy and the other girls went to grab some drinks because we were thirsty. Then I saw the owner of the voice. It was a guy that I've never seen before. He's probably someone's date or something. "Oh, hi." I usually don't look at guys much, I have my own boyfriend, but he was right in front of me, so I couldn't look away. He was cute. He had sandy blonde hair and grey eyes. "Cool party, huh?" "Yeah.." I said quietly. He smiled. "You're shy." "Am not. I just...don't know you. I don't even know your name." I admitted. "Well then, I'll start over. Hi, I'm Lucas." Okay... "Hi, I'm Allie. Nice to meet you, again? I guess."
