Hello there! Here are facts about Ayaan! A Profile, if you will. I hope to do more of these in the future! Thank you all for being so wonderful during this time. Now, on to the facts!

.

ABOUT HIS NAME

.

Ayaan (Ah-YAHN), His name means "God's Gift". Kya, his mother, named him this instinctually, as well as the fact that she saw him as a gift that blessed their then-small family.

When thinking of his name, I came across other good ones such as Atka, which means Guardian Spirit, and Tulok, which means Warrior, and was also mentioned to be the name of the Inuit god of the stars. Both of them were Inuit names from what I could find, which is who the Water Tribe was loosely based on from what I gathered.

In the end, I choose Ayaan, as it fits more with what Kya was thinking at the time. I will indeed still be using these names in the future though. I have a plan for them, probably.

I have a lot of plans for this story going forward.

ABOUT HIS BODY

.

Ayaan is tall. Currently, he stands at 6'5", and he is still growing. By the time Book 1 ends, our boy will stand at 6'8"... AND HE'S STILL GROWING!

The reason I wrote him like that is because I wanted him to literally stand out from the norm. From what I researched about ancient times and Chinese culture, it was rare for them to be very tall, outside of the five-foot range. I'm sure they had their outliers, and it may not be completely accurate as I didn't delve super deep into the matter.

Ayaan is special. How that is, I will not say. But he is different from the people around him. I wanted that difference to show in his form and how he grows. His hair, how he heals, his strength, subtle things that will steadily set him apart from the rest.

Now, back to the facts. He has a mesomorph-type body. What that means is he is muscular with a slim waist and wide shoulders. Muscular hourglass, dear readers. If he had to wear a bra, he'd need a DD cup. He is toned, with firm muscles since he consistently trains. His hands can dwarf others, and when he flexes one can see his veins prominently.

I wish I had the skill to draw them how I see them in my mind. I'll get there someday. I practice all the time just so I can do it. Just wait for me.

Now about his burn, one of the signature things about Ayaan. I mentioned in the story somewhere that it covers about 25% of his body, though I am not quite sure if those numbers are right. One comment mentioned that it seemed more around 15% than what I had. While I can't get percentages right to save my life, I can tell you accurately how it travels.

It trails over his nose, with another trail going over his cheek, missing his eye. It continues down his neck, where it splits in two directions. One goes over his arm up to his wrist, wrapping around it in off-and-on spots.

The other goes down his body, curving over his right peck and down his side, going around his back in the same fashion. It stops at the middle of his stomach, not reaching his waist. It swirls around a bit, though I haven't exclusively drawn it aside from a few artworks.

His scar, unlike normal scars of its kind, is smooth. While it does have ridges, it is unusual. I made it like that for a reason. It healed greatly from what it once was, as it had covered that half of his upper body in different degrees when it first happened.
