"i thought pixie bob said we'd be getting a reward..." kirishima huffs.
denki sobs. "this is more like torture! we want our treat, mr. aizawa..."
he looks back, holding his capture weapon with one hand as he walks them back to the facility. "do you want me to tighten your bindings?"
the door hisses open, the students groaning as they walk sluggishly behind their teacher. black smoke rises into the air behind them, but their turned backs leaves them oblivious to the chaos outside.
"for tonight's lesson, we'll be talking about how to behave in an emergency. if you don't become more aware that you're falling behind your classmates, then the gap will keep on growing. in a broad sense, this knowledge is your reward. how's that for a treat?" aizawa says sarcastically.
kirishima sighs. "i knew i shouldn't have gotten my hopes up..."
the classroom door slides open, and the five students are bombarded with monoma, a small bandage wrapped around his head. "oh, look what we have here! five members of class a bombed the exams? and look! there's only one guy from class b!" he laughs manically.
"you failed, too, idiot!" denki huffs, arms crossed as he plops into the plastic chair.
kirishima sighs, sitting down as well, "he tried to get under our skin with the same trick yesterday..."
"honestly, i'm kinda worried about him." mina deadpans.
aizawa ignores the students and walks over to vlad king, class b's teacher, "so, vlad. why don't we start with practice maneuvers?"
vlad nods. "i was thinking the same thing. perhaps we should pair them up-"
everyone freezes as mandalay's voice echoes in their heads, broadcasting from the forest, "everyone!"
kirishima gasps, "it's mandalay's telepath!"
"so weird, right? it's giving me chills..." mina smiles.
denki nods, "it is sorta annoying that it only works in one direction, though-"
"stop talking." aizawa says, placing a hand over his ear.
