"Yeah?" I yelled from the kitchenette.

Professor Snape stayed silent as he hesitated for a while.

"Forget it. You can make some coffee while for yourself while you're at it."

"F-For me?"

"Yeah. You deserve it, I suppose." He murmured under a soft breath, clearly not wanting for me to hear.

"Thank you.. Professor." I replied, putting down his cup.

Did Professor Snape just..? I never knew he could be nice. I never knew he still had any kindness left in that cold heart of his.

I stared into his cup, then shifted my gaze to the cream beside it.

Should I..? He didn't seem mad after last time. But that also doesn't mean he likes it..

I decided not to.

Then, I hurriedly made my own coffee and added in the bear anyway. I took a sip from my cup.

I carried the two cups of coffee outside and placed them both on the table.

Professor was tidying his supplies at the time, and I couldn't help but go over and help.

"The coffee will get cold." I told him, helping him with the jars. "I've got this. Nothing will be broken."

He didn't seem convinced, but after some reassurance, he went over to his desk as I started organizing the storage cupboard.

When I went back, I was surprised to see Professor Snape drinking from MY cup. Well, it's his. But the coffee I prepared inside was for me, and mere minutes ago I had just drinken out of that cup.

We had indirectly kissed just now from a cup of coffee.

"Well sh-" I cursed under a very tiny whisper, making sure Professor couldn't hear.

"How much sugar did you put in this, (L/n)." He suddenly asked, catching my attention as I saw his face all crinkled up.

I liked my coffee sweeter than him, seeing he drank what was prepared for me, he obviously didn't like it.

"Uhm.. I, uh.. is it too sweet, Professor?"

"Yes. It is."

My face couldn't help but heat up as I hesitated whether to tell him the truth or not.

"S-Sorry.. I must've accidentally added too much sugar." I quickly said as a cover-up. Oh, if he knew, I'd be dead meat. Dead fawqing meat, I tell you.

"Whatever, it's alright." He said, putting down the cup.

"R-Right." I stammered, grabbing the coffee which was originally for Professor. I finished it under one big gulp and put it back down.

"In a rush, (L/n)?"

"Y-Yeah. I have.. um.. a project with Ced."

I was considerably bad at potions, but worse at lying.

"You're acting weird." Professor raised me an eyebrow. Oh darn it, he's using his brain.

"I'm not. I really have to go, goodnight, Professor!" I dashed out as quickly as I could and returned to my common room, keeping all this to myself and not daring to tell anyone.

Wasn't this study session something.

(Y/n) came over and offered to help me tidy up. Of course, I declined. I don't need more chaos here.

"The coffee will get cold." She told me, helping with the jars. "I've got this. Nothing will be broken."

I finally gave in and headed over to the desk.

There were two cups of coffee, which was mine?

I carefully examined the two.

There was a bear in one of them.

I picked it up and put the brim to my mouth, sipping the coffee slowly.

This was probably mine, I'm assuming.

I lay in my bed, curled up like a cat as the memories played in my mind over and over again.

Professor.. coffee.. the cup.. we.. we kissed.

I don't even know how to feel about this. What concerns me is the fact that I don't hate it..

Professor.. was I.. no.

No, no, no. I didn't smell anyone in my Amortentia, so there's no way I like Professor.

..right?

[Snape pov]

I suppose.. she's not all that bad.

She may be a pain in the butt sometimes, but she could be really kind as well..

Maybe.. maybe I shouldn't judge her so quickly.
