[Snape's pov]

"Professor!"

"What, (L/n)?" I sighed. What was this girl up to now.

"I'm done."

(Y/n) walked out of the storage room, carrying her usual smile.

I turned to look at the clock.

Eight fifteen.

"You finished in fifteen minutes?"

"Yes, sir."

I got up from my seat and headed towards her. She stepped aside as I went in to examine everything.

The shelves were dusted, and things were organized into liquids, solids, and liquid solids. Everything was put in alphabetical order.

"Impressed, Professor?" She giggled.

"Good job, (L/n)." I said, closing the door behind me.

"Anything else?"

"Yes. Make me some coffee while you're at it." I muttered, sitting down at my desk once more.

"Pardon? Coffee? Where would I-"

"Behind you."

She turned around and saw my little kitchenette.

"Wow. Cool office you have, Professor."

"Hm, indeed."

I continued grading the Year One papers, being frustrated at every mistake I see.

These damn stupid Year Ones.

Suddenly, I remembered that (L/n) had no idea how I liked my coffee or how it should've been done.

I was a picky coffee drinker.

"(L/n), make sure that-"

"-the coffee has exactly 1½ sugar cubes, with milk and cream, but not too much."

I paused.

Hesitantly, I looked up to see the back of the Hufflepuff student in the kitchenette preparing my coffee for me.

"How did you-"

"Attention to detail, Professor." She said.

After a moment, she put down the cup on my desk.

"Thank you. You may go."

And with that, she turned around and left.

How did she know.

I grabbed the cup and put the brim to my mouth, only to be interrupted by what I was seeing.

I settle the cup back down on the coaster.

Latté art?

I stare at the little cream bear in my cup.

How.. sweet of her.

I suppose that's why everyone likes her so much.

She's.. not as bad as I initially thought.

-----

[Y/n pov]

Where on earth was I supposed to make coffee for him?!

I knew Professor liked his coffee but bloody hell!

"Behind you."

I turned around to be greeted by a little kitchenette.

Aww, how cute. Didn't know Professor had a soft side to him.

I walked in and examined the place.

It was oddly.. dull.

Oh, who am I kidding? This is Professor Snape we're talking about. Everything related to him is black and lifeless.

I headed to the counter and started making coffee for him.

You'd be surprised to know that I hate potions, but I love coffee.

Coffee was like my best friend. Well, Ced is.

I may suck at brewing potions, but coffee was another thing.

I was technically already finished when Professor suddenly spoke up.

"(L/n), make sure that-"

"-the coffee has exactly 1½ sugar cubes, with milk and cream, but not too much."

"How did you-"

"Attention to detail, Professor."

Honestly, it doesn't take too much effort to notice what he drinks.

I mean, it's on his table every single lesson. Sometimes, he would complain about it being too sweet under his breath.

Honestly, he should start learning how to think and not say everything out loud.

Without realizing, I had already finished his drink and created my signature bear art from the cream.

Oops.. guess I was zoned out and thought I was making this for myself.

I thought about just mixing it into the drink, but I just couldn't dare take away its life. (Rip bear :c)

I suppose Professor Snape could use a bit of cuteness in his emotionless office.

I put down the cup on his desk as far away from him as possible, hoping he wouldn't lash out on me when he sees what I've done.

"Thank you, you may go."

I quickly took this as an opportunity and sprinted away, closing the door behind me.

Phew. That was close.

-----

"Ced, you will not believe what I just did."

Silence.

"Ced?" I turned my head from the book I was reading and faced Cedric.

"Ced!"

He jolted and looked straight at me.

"Bloody hell, Ced. Are you even listening?"

"Yeah, I am. I'm just a bit overwhelmed by schoolwork, I guess." He said.

"You were saying?"

I shook my head lightly.

What was wrong with this boy?

"Forget it, goodnight Ced."

"B-But-"

And with that I left.

-----

[Cedric's pov]

"But today's supposed to be our past curfew hangout.." I muttered lightly.

Of course, she was gone.

What was I expecting.
