A Corpse Shell (Jujutsu Kaisen Various x Reader)

Episode 9

Within the school or beneath it, Itadori and Gojo walked in a dark hallway whose walls are made from some kind of dirt or rock? I don't know. If it wasn't for the lanterns that adorned the hallway, nobody could see anything.

"I can't take you there this time. But don't worry. I've contacted a trustworthy junior"

Gojo reassured Itadori who didn't say anything back. Gojo opened the doors that led to an enclosed space where the walls are still made from rocks and adorned with lanterns. In the middle of the huge room, Itadori saw a tall blonde man wearing a tan suit with his back turned to him. The man seemed to be talking to someone but Itadori couldn't see who.

The man only turned around when Gojo called his name, and when he did, Itadori's eyes caught you standing in front of the man with a grin. Itadori's eyes slowly widened and he is perplexed to see you in the room.

"This is Kento Nanami, a Jujutsu Sorcerer who quit office work!"

"Please stop that"

Nanami sternly said with crossed arms and a nonchalant face, it is as if he was used to Gojo's bs. 

"There are many strange Jujutsu Sorcerers but he used to work in an office, so he's reliable. And he's a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer"

"I don't think others want to hear that from you"

Nanami said with the same monotone voice while he adjusted his glasses. Meanwhile, you stood behind Nanami with your hands in your pockets. While Gojo introduced his old friend, Itadori's focus was mainly on you because he's still wondering if you're mad at him or not. You were acting pretty distant and cold to him the last time you met, which was the time when Jogo and Gojo fought.

Your eyes focused on the floor until you sensed Itadori's stare, so you looked up slowly into his eyes. The eye contact made Itadori almost jump on his spot and got his heart beating fast all of a sudden. Itadori can feel his cheeks slowly becoming warm.

'What is this?'

"Oh! And!!..."

Gojo paused before he grabbed your arm and stands between you and Nanami with each of his arms around yours and Nanami's shoulders.

"I brought (Name)-chan too! I assigned her to this mission to learn a few things from Nanami!"

"You actually blackmailed me into coming here"

"No, I didn't!"

Gojo said defensively but in a falsely offended tone.

"I guess this is okay. I have nothing else to do anyway"

You muttered and Gojo beamed.

"See! She was obviously bored and was starving for action, so I assigned this task to her as well!"

"You didn't tell me beforehand that (Name) Sunako is going to be in this mission too"

Nanami said in the same hot monotone voice.

"Why? What's the problem?"

Gojo asked as he looked at Nanami with a teasing smile. Nanami didn't bother to look back at him and only continued to speak.

"You know why"

Gojo hummed in thinking until he snapped his fingers with a huge grin.

"Ohhhh!!! I see, well you should use this opportunity to know each other more!"

Nanami sighed quietly while you chuckled for a second. You looked in front of you where Itadori stood still. You noticed him being tense, so you smile and gave him a small wave, and that simple gesture made him smile almost ear to ear with pink hues on his cheeks.
