You and Maki have been sparring for what seemed like forever!!!
That's what the boys have been thinking.
They were on the sidelines watching you and Maki spar, they were initially excited but the match has gone on for far too long than they thought. Too long that they ended up making bets to pass the time.
Panda bets that Maki will win.
Inumaki bets that Maki will also win.
Fushguro bets that you will win.
Fushiguro has seen you fight with his own eyes. The fact that you were able to fight off Sukuna mostly on your own without earning a bruise or injury is enough proof for him that you're stronger than Maki. However, he's also very much aware that Maki is strong but after witnessing your strength that first night and the fight with Sukuna...he deems you as far stronger than Maki.
The field has basically turned into a battlefield, there were large dents everywhere and debris flying all over the place. The boys were dodging every piece of dirt that comes their way, sometimes, they would just swat them away as if they're a fly.
Meanwhile, you and Maki were endlessly exchanging attacks with grins on your lips. The beginning of the match was easy for Maki but eventually and unfortunately, it became harder for her. The difficulty of the match was escalating with every passing minute. You kept popping out everywhere, every time there's a smokescreen you would teleport to her blind spot and pull out a different weapon each time. The weapon is deadlier than the last.
It is as if you're taking every chance you get to land an attack on her.
Unfortunately, Maki can feel herself slowly becoming drained from all this, she doesn't have much time before she loses the stamina to fight. While you still looked hyped as ever, with no sign of fatigue present, your eyes are still glowing with determination.
Maki smirks at your determination to bring your senpai down.
Apparently, you were able to land 8 hits on Maki while she only got to hit you 3 times, but your attacks weren't continuous though. You surprisingly find it hard to land an attack on Maki Zenin. Maki has quick reflexes and instincts but your endless and unpredictable teleporting has probably distorted those senses.
Sometimes though, for the sake of entertainment, you'd tease her by attacking with weak and obvious attacks. But there's one more reason for your behavior, and that is to drain Maki's stamina to fight.
Maki releases strong attacks which amused you a little. She is such an amazing fighter at a young age with only using her raw strength. You find her quite amazing.
'She's strong...she would probably be much stronger if she has cursed energy '
You and Maki continued to fight; the latter was able to last a little longer until she lost balance due to the lack of ample amount of energy in her body after all the fighting. You quickly notice that little misstep and took the chance to end the spar once and for all.
You teleported in front of her and jabbed her abdomen with the end of your weapon's handle causing her to be out of balance even more. That jab you suddenly did to her sent a strong sense of pain into her entire body's nerves causing her to start falling back.
You teleported above her before stomping one foot on one of her arms and pinning her down against the ground.
To truly keep her in place, you pinned your other knee against the elbow of her free arm.
You were basically crushing her arms against the ground.
You watched her with a sadistic expression as she struggled under you, you reached for her long wooden weapon that is within your reach. Then you used the other end of her weapon to press against her open palm. The more seconds pass the deeper you pressed against her palm.
Maki winced for a moment before she made a strained grin.
"Seems like you have not gotten rusty at all"
"Indeed. Maybe I was overthinking after all"
Then suddenly, you heard sounds of sighs of disappointment but you never turned your head to them because your focus is on Maki. She scowled when you still haven't released her.
"The winner has already been decided so get off me already"
"One more thing"
"Wha--"
Maki was abruptly cut off when you suddenly hit her temple harshly with her wooden weapon, then your grin widened with your eyes squinted like a fox.
"There, you're dead, Maki-senpai~"
"How..."
Before Maki could even finish her sentence, you stepped away and stood beside her with a hand outstretched to her. Maki hesitantly accepted your help, you carefully pulled her back to her feet. You guys dusted yourselves off before you casually walked away with a small smile.
Maki eyed you as you walked away and she couldn't help but wonder about one thing:
'Is it a coincidence that she said the same thing I said to Yuta?'

"Where are you going, (Name)?"
Fushiguro asked.
It was nighttime and you were on your way to leave the school because you'll be heading over to your lonely Aunt's house. There are some important things you're going to pick up there. You were all ready to go until Fushiguro seemed to have spotted you.
How and Why?
"Hm? Were you following me, Fushiguro?"
You teasingly asked without looking at him and he scoffed.
"Of course, I wasn't, I was just wondering where you went off to again. You have a habit of leaving without saying anything"
"You noticed that?"
"From earlier, yes"
You sighed softly before finally turning to him, he stood a couple of feet away from you with a stern look. You then reply with a nonchalant look.
"I am heading over to my Aunt's house to pick up something I need for the event"
"Really?"
"Hey! You asked and I answered. See ya"
"But it's late at night, curses are rampant during this time"
You clicked your tongue at his questions, all you want is to get to your Aunt's house and not to get interrogated by some guy.
"Look, Megu-chan. I'm going to be alright by myself, okay? Don't worry, I can protect myself more than you can protect yourself"
You forced a smile as you spoke while Fushiguro almost choked at the nickname you gave him and the insult you just said.
"Don't ever call me that and excuse me?"
"All righty! I am leaving!"
You sarcastically exclaimed in a loud voice before you dashed off at the speed of lightning.
"Hey! I'm not done ta—and she's gone...*sigh"
Fushiguro exasperatedly sighed before he walked away from his spot and just return to his room instead. You're hard to convince and reason with so he just gave up and left you be.
