Hindi ko alam ang aking naging reaksyon sa kanya ngayon basta't naramdaman ko ang pagkatigil ko sa kanyang sinabi
“A-Anong ibig mong sabihin?”
“You want to know about it now? O' gusto mo munang magpahinga?” He asked lowly.
“Hindi, ngayon na..Angelus! Hindi kita maintindihan!”
He sighs heavily.
“Alright, let me just get a glass of water. Sasama ka?”
“Saan naman?”
“Sa kusina natin..”
Napanguso ako. “Hindi na siguro..wala naman akong gagawin roon.”
He smirked. “I have stocks of ice cream there, and also a soft ice cream machine..”
Napaawang ang mga labi ko. “What? Really?”
He smiled. “Yeah..this way,” he said as he gestures the way into his big house. Pansin ko pa rin ang pamumungay ng mga mata niya ngunit siguro ay bahagya na siyang nakabawi sa pag-uusap namin.
I pursed my lips when I saw the kitchen. All the things are sleek, most especially the grounds, the marble of the island counter at ang lababo niya. May tatlo na lamp na hugis bilog na ibabaw ng island counter. May mga upuan rin na hugis square.
Ngunit hindi na muli nakatakas sa tingin ko ang sinasabi niyang Soft Ice cream machine nang lumapit siya rito at pinakita. He has this proud grin plastered in his lips as he looks at me.
Lumapit ako roon. “Bakit may ganito ka? You really don't like Ice cream, right?”
“Just incase kapag nabobored ako but it has a sole purpose why I put this here..”
Napanguso ako at napatingin sa basong nasa gilid ng Soft Ice cream machine.
“We'll talk about that, next time...now you want to try it?” He asked gently. Hindi ko mapigilan kundi tumango sa kanyang sinabi.
Kaagad naman siyang umaksyon, kumuha siya ng plastics cup na kulay pink sa gilid ng machine at itinapat ito sa lalabasan ng ice cream.
“Naubos na iyong mga apa...I'm sorry if it's just recyclable cups..next time, I'll surely buy many cones..”
“Hindi na kailangan,”
“Kailangan, lalo na may posibilidad na titira ka na dito sa bahay natin..” he smirked playfully.
I pursed my lips and I furrowed my brows unwillingly.
“I already predicted it.” dagdag niya pa.
Pasimple ko siyang inirapan.
“Here you go..” He said and he handed me my ice cream at may tinuro sa likod ko kung nasaan ang island counter, napabaling ako roon at nakita kong may maliit drawer.
“There's many toppings inside, go try it all,” he said.
Kaya naman wala akong pag-alinlangan na binuksan iyon. My eyes widened. I saw different bottle of toppings from the sprinkles to expensive chocolates!
“Ang dami..” I murmured.
I heard him chuckling slowly as I felt his presence behind me. “Yeah, ang dami,”
Napalunok ako at nag-papanick na ang mga mata ko kung ano ang pipiliin ko. However I ended up putting all the toppings on my soft strawberry ice cream.
