Chapter 27 : Hug

“Do you like chocolates?” He suddenly asked out of the blue when I'm answering some of his written math problems in my notebook. 

I slightly raised my brows and nodded.“Yes, I like sweets. Bakit?” 

“Hmm, what specific types of chocolate?” 

I pursed my lips as I'm thinking. “I don't like dark chocolate, I mostly like sweet chocolate, like dairy milk etc.” I answered while looking at him, tilting my head. “Bakit?” 

He avoided my eyes and licked his lower lip. 

“Nothing..” 

“Okay..” I replied as I lowered my eyes on my notebook deciding to continue focusing on the math problems he gave me.

Hindi naman nagtagal ang pag-sosolve ko. I felt like these days the effect of our tutoring lessons makes me feel like even when my teacher did not discuss yet a certain topic, I already knew it. Kapag nag-iintroduction pa lang siya at nagtatanong samin, I could always answer him. 

I grinned when I finished solving. 

“Done!” sabi ko at marahan na tinulak sa kanyang ang aking notebook. 

His eyesight lowered down on the notebook after staring at me. He took my g-tech pen and I could see how focused he was by analyzing my answers. 

Bahagyang dumukwang na rin ako sa aking notebook para makita kung may problema ba roon na mali ang pagkaka-solve ko. He moved his shoulder to relax a bit before he turned his head unexpectedly near to mine. 

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ng malapitan ang kanyang mukha. Napansin ko kaagad sa malapitan ang mga mata niyang itim, ang matangos niyang ilong, ang manipis at mapula niyang labi at ang makapal niyang kilay. 

Hindi niya rin mapigilan na mapatingin sa akin, parang tumigil ang oras sa pagtitinginan namin. 

Hindi na ako masyadong nagugulat sa mga ganitong nararamdaman ko kaya marahan akong ngumiti sa kanya before I poke his nose. 

“Stop looking, i-check mo na, please?”

His eyes wandered around my face before it went down on my lips back on my eyes, before he licked his lower lip. 

 “Angelus..” I called.

The side of his lips rose for a slight smirk as he stared at me intently, with adoration and amusement. “Sorry, I got distracted a bit.” 

I pouted. I pointed my notebook with my lips. “I-check mo na kasi..” 

He chuckled. “Alright.” 

Ang bilis ng oras, halos nasa gitna na kami ng February. Marami na akong napapansin mga disenyo sa mga napapuntahan kong may shops na may mga hugis puso at halos lahat ng motif nila ay kulay pula, representing the Valentine's Day.

They labeled February as the month of love. 

It's good that they reserved a month to officially celebrate love. But on the contrary, love should not just be celebrated solely for that month. Love should always exist, in every moment in our life, because without love this world would be in great chaos. 

“We are aware naman na bukas ang valentines day, so for us SSG officers, we should check out and monitor our fellow students' activity inside the campus. Hindi natin alam kung may ginagawa silang milagro sa tabi-tabi. So let's be aware and observe tomorrow.” The President stated making us listen to him and nodded our heads.
