Last time in i was reborn in demon slayer as an Uchiha

"Atoru what were you doing on top of that mountain," Kanae said switching topic

"Learning how to breathe correctly, and mastering the basics"I answer

"And you want me to believe that all the noise and shockwave coming from the mountain were made by you breathing and practicing the basics,"She said with a face that told me she didn't buy it

"Yes," I said looking back up at Kanae.

"You not telling me the full truth,"She said

"Demanding much,"I said before sighting and saying"I made some clone practice some jutsu on top of the mountain"

"That checks out, are you planning on fixing the mess you made up there" Kanae said

"Wait, did you go up the mountain,"I asked

"I went up the mountain right after you came back,i wanted to see how much damage you caused and surprisingly it wasn't as I thought, but the mountain was still a mess," Kanae said

Now we continue where we left off

Time-skip

I was walking toward the direction of the rengoku household at a pretty standard speed,i wanted to reach it before it too late,I was just admiring the view as i was walking.

I'm never really getting used to it.The sky seems to be brighter for today which means less shadows that demons can crawl into to escape the sunlight, probably going to be a different story if there are in a cave.

Timeskip

I saw the Rengoku mansion starting to appear in the background,It didn't change a bit from the last time i was in it,I walked until i reached the main gate,i enter because there was no door it was just a huge gate and everything inside was still as i left it,It was nostalgic everything in here made me feel some sort of nostalgia.

I feel like a dick for not visiting him more often but i have a lot of responsibility and a bunch of training that i juggle around, so it left me with no to little time to visit here.

The wall even the floor was as i left,I continued to walk around looking at everything around me.

I remember everything as if i never move out of this place to go reclaim my clan compound.

I walked around before hearing the sound of water being dropped on something,I turn around the corner to see that Senjuro was pouring water on Kyojuro's head,Senjuro looked like he was doing his best and he looked much older than the last time,i spoke with him, granted i talk to him via letters.

"Hello there,i hope I'm not interrupting anything, "I said looking over at the two flame-haired boy.

Senjuro put his head up before noticing that it was me,He looked happy but at the same time mad.

Rengoku with his hair still wet, put his head up very fast splashing some water on Senjuro.

He looked toward my direction before a big smile appeared on his face.

I was going to say something before he interrupts me and said"Atoru my brother what bring you here"

I was about to answer before he said"Oh you must be here because it's my birthday"

"I wanted to celebrate your birthday with you"I said with a smile

"Why weren't you at my birthday"Senjuro said pointing

I was about to say why i wasn't there before Rengoku said"He came to your birthday,you were just asleep"{A/N Rengoku processes stuff and talks very fast to the point that people can't keep up with him sometime}

"You didn't change at all"I said to Rengoku

"Why would change myself" Rengoku said

I just chuckle at that before handing him something wrapped like a present and saying "Here is your gift"

"Thank you for the gift Atoru,Why don't you join us inside and have some tea"Rengoku said

"Yeah sure"I said following after him

We walked inside and Senjuro went to make the tea,5 or so minutes later Senjuro came back with the tea and slowly served me in Rengoku in a small cup.

I took the cup by the handle,i lifted the teacup to the level of my lips and then blew a gentle breeze over it, before slowly taking a sip out of the tea.

It was bitter like very bitter,so bitter in fact that i think it showed on my face.

Rengoku on the other hand seem like he was enjoying every sip of the tea,

"How can you enjoy such a bitter tea"I said still trying to remove the bitter taste from my mouth.

"You must not be used to such bitter," He said sipping on the tea.

"Not all tea tastes great, maybe this one will get better the more i drink it"i said as i started to take very small but constant sips from the teacup.

It was getting worse and worse the more i drank of it but I continued, After some time i just wanted to be done with it and just swallowed what was left in it, in my mouth and it was way worse than i could imagine.

"Here is some water, "Rengoku said handing a container.

I opened the container and proceeded to chug down every single drop of water from the container he handed me.

"thank you,"I said

"no problem"He answers with a smile

"How those it feel to be 16 year old"I said looking at Rengoku

"I feel nothing at all"Rengoku replied

I just let out a small chuckle before looking over at Senjuro and saying"How were you doing"

"I can use flame breathing"Senjuro said with a smile and for some reason even if he was happy he could finally use flame breathing after so long of practicing with me,it didn't make me happy. Matter of fact i felt conflicted and a bit scared.

"Good on you Senjuro,"I said to the little boy

He was content with my answer and gave me a smile saying"If you watch don t your back,one day i will cath up to you and surpass you"

"A child can dream,"I said looking at the little boy

He just crossed his hands on his chest and said"You will see"

I just smile
