Third Destination: Mestizo River
We just wanna try the river cruise kaya dito kami next na pumunta.
They said it's a 45 minutes boat ride.
Once on the board, tahimik lang kami ni Nav habang pinagmamasdan ang lugar.
Meztizo River is a green colored water, which reflects the natures beauty.
On the side, may mga taong nagswiswimming and we can see residential houses as we go along.
It has five station which tells something about the place.
First station: Brgy Tamang shows the barter trade with the chinese. They traded porcelain, silk, gold, animal skin, etc.
Second station: Brgy Beddeng Laud shows the origin of Vigan and how it is named.
Along the cruise, nakakita kami ng mga fishing nets and fishpens.
Third station: Brgy Cabalangegan shows about the religious history of Vigan. It has sculptures of priest and locals interacting with each other.
Fourth station: Brgy VI- Pagpandayan shows colorful sculptures of people making pottery. It shows the town traditional industry.
Fifth station: Brgy Pagpartian shows Vigan't food industy. It is one of the most important source of home made processed foods.
After naming Makita lahat ng stations ay bumalik na kami.
While looking at the view, I can't help but reminisce about our past. Ang dami na rin palang nangyare after 5 years simula ng magkakilala kami.
When I look at Nav, di ko mapigilang manghinayang sa kung ano sanang meron kami ngayon kung kami ang nagkatuluyan.
Ako kaya ang pakakasalan niya at hindi yung fiancée niya. Or we're gonna fail like other relationships.
"what are you thinking?" basag niya sa katahimikan.
"nothing in particular." Sabi ko
"baka iniisip mo na kung paano mo ko ilulunod dito"
"No! but that's a good idea" sabi ko at ngumisi.

"too bad. I'm already planning it on my mind"nakangisi kong sabi.
nakita ko siyang lumayo sakin kaya natawa ako.
"You never fail to amuse me Nav" natatawa ko pa ring sabi.
"so what's next on your itinerary?" pag-iiba niya sa topic
"lunch?" patanong kong sabi.
"yah! I want that too."
"it's boring" sabi ko patungkol sa cruise.
"then let's do something para di ka ma-bore" nakangiting sabi niya
"like what?" tanong ko.
"like this" sabi niya sabay tutok sakin ng digicam.
"picture?"
"and videos"
"ahahaha. Yah! I love that too. So lets start?" masayang tanong ko.
"of course."
Naging reporter kami sa mga oras na yun. Kung anu-ano na nga lang ang sinasabi namin at panay pa ang tawa.
The boring cruise became memorable dahil sa kakulitan namin.
