chapter 79

So I'm trying to use writing as a distraction but I just want to make it clear Im still not back to my fast updates. Idk if I'll write another in the next few days. But things are tough at minute so I've found writing helps.

Damon had the pleasure of teaching Lexi not to mess with him however she still refused to co-operate so with one final hit, he left. He couldn't kill her, Alesandro didn't want her dead.

The next day came and after his younger kids went to school and his two eldest went to work. Alesandro planned what would hurt Alexia the most. So later that day he returned to see his daughter.

He felt guilty for what he had let Damon do. He was just as bad as Henry in a way but he couldn't allow himself to think like that. If he did, he would spiral.

"Damon told me you don't want to co-operate, that's okay. I won't force you" Alesandro said a smile on his face.

He had turned into Damon slightly. Damon was only Emilia's stalker for a joke but Alesandro had asked Dante to look out for Emilia at school especially with her and Antonio. He wanted pictures too.

He was slightly stalkerish. But it was necessary.

"Here" he handed her a bottle of water.

Lexi was still confused why he was being nice but after yesterday she gladly accepted the water.

"I'm sure you can understand my motive for this. You tried to kill Emilia several times, you even encouraged Henry to kill her resulting in Damon going into a coma. And that's just while you have been living here" he said.

Clearly the harsh approach had not worked.

"So tell me Alexia, why do it?" He asked calmly.

"Because I wanted too. You killed my mother, you're just as guilty. You and Damon. And if I ever see her I'll tell her all your secrets. She will hate you, she will finally leave" Lexi ranted.

"Why do you want her to leave, she's your twin"

"I don't want a twin. I never asked for one. I hate her. She's weird. And no I haven't been brainwashed. My mum didn't want me anywhere near anything violent but she was so annoying and so I started blaming her for my mistakes, and hearing her cry was so fun to listen to . She's a worthless bitch, she deserves nothing. I want her gone. Permenantly."

Alesandro nodded. Clearly Alexia wasn't brainwashed by Alice and Henry. She had hated Emilia since they were kids but he never clocked on. He thought it was just an attention thing, that Alice spoilt her so she had a attitude problem but he was wrong, she obviously enjoyed seeing her sister suffer. She wanted Emilia dead. He could never allow that to happen. But he knew Emilia needed it for closure.

"Very well. I'm done with you Alexia. I don't want anything more to do with you. You will stay here till those bruises and everything has healed then you will go to prison. I tried to be nice and give you the help you needed when I sent you to the hospital but there's just no saving you" Alesandro finally decided.

She wasn't worth his time.

When his twins were born he loved them both. He knew as a parent he shouldn't play favourites with any of his children, but he loved his daughters. And then as time passed, he had a clear favourite, Emilia. She became the boys favourite too, especially Damon who had become her favourite brother. Being the closest in age, Damon and Mason often spent time together which resulted in Emilia claiming Mason had stolen Damon from her. And he would always play along with it. Lexi once tried to do that and he didn't play along, instead he told her that she could play with Emilia instead.

Yeah Emilia was always his favourite and always will be.

"But one last thing...i want to show you some pictures and maybe a little field trip" he said.

Lexi nodded, she was curious about the pictures.

He then took out his phone, he then began to show her the most recent. Her and her friends laughing and joking , Antonio with his arm around her.

It was his first time seeing the image too as Dante had sent it today. He made a mental note to invite Antonio around again.

Then he began showing her the pictures he had taken. From the stupid pranks they pulled, to group pictures of them all, including when they went away to the cabin.

All pictures, Emilia looked happy in them.

"She's finally happy, she has the life she deserved. You could have had this life too. You went down the wrong path over and over though" he said after.

"Oh and she's doing great in school, if it's not clear she has a sort of boyfriend, she speaks, she eats normally. As you probably saw, there was a prank where Dante dyed her hair purple, she is having fun. Shes even helping me design a new restaurant. And finally she's learning to stand up for herself.  I'm proud of her. I'm proud of my only daughter"

He knew the only way to stop the guilt was to cut ties with her. It hurt him to do it but she was dangerous, maybe more so than Alice ever had been. She happily tried to kill her multiple times with no remorse.
He had to let her go.

"Get up" he said, he noticed how angry she looked but it didn't bother him. She was too weak to try anything.

After dragging her out of the basement, she winced at the light. She hadn't been out of it since she was placed in it.

"Once you have healed you won't be here ever again" Alesandro told her as he dragged her to the car.

She didn't say anything, she was desperate to insult him but after yesterday she knew his rule about not hurting kids no longer existed. And she knew deep down Alesandro was worse than Damon.

And it was true. Alesandro had more control then Damon. Damon enjoyed torturing his victims, he had anger issues, he wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone.
But Alesandro operated in a calmer manner, he only hurt those who deserved it. His enemies or people in general. Either way, when he made you his enemy, you better run.

Damon hated everyone, he would torture anyone. He didn't care.

But Alesandro, he did it with a purpose.

And although he wasn't going to physically hurt Lexi right now. He was going to continue with what he had planned.

Emilia was finally ungrounded today.... Alesandro did it on purpose because he knew her friends were all hanging out at a cafe.

He parked up nearby the cafe, they would go unseen but they could see Emilia and her friends.

Alesandro smiled when he saw Emilia laugh with her friends. A slight frown appeared when he saw Antonio with his arm around her but the frown dissapeared when he saw how comfortable Emilia looked.
It was something he never saw when Luca came over.

"See. She's happy. She's safe. She has everything you didn't want her to have" he commented.

"And yet she still wants to see me, clearly she's not as happy as you think she is" Lexi tried.

"She is happy though. She has trauma yes but she is still happy.  I personally believe she wants anwsers. And you are going to give her them"

"Sure I'll tell her all about what Damon did. I'm sure she won't be so happy then"

"Do that and I won't just drop a knife. I'll cut your whole damn foot off. I don't fucking care anymore" Alesandro warned.

"And when she asks about the bruises"  Lexi asked. She was tired and saying up her options, she knew once he sent her to prison she would be out in a few years and she could finally get rid of Emilia permanently. Being stuck in the basement, she would never get her chance. It was best for her to play along for now.

She was determined to kill Emilia.

"You got in a fight with a cellmate. But don't worry you will be using makeup and wearing prison attire. I doubt she will notice"

Alesandro was happy and with her violent streak. He would just make sure to have guards about and her cuffed the entire time.

He would be right by Emilia's side the entire time and would  put a stop to anything that he didn't like.

I've decided not to kill Lexi off but her whole story line is starting to drag to much and want to wrap it up so I can soon start on the new book with fewer loose ends like Lexi.
